Are you blind man? Or just biased like Rogan? Aldo won Rounds 1,2,3, and 5.

Aldo was more effective, landed more clean shots, stuffed most of Frankie's takedowns and did more damage. Frankie was more active, threw more punches but they were not as nearly as effective as Aldo's.

Try watching the fight next time instead of listening to Rogan's stupid ass commentary.

I think its simple.......Aldo to LW and challenges himself.....Frankie at FW.....no one can touch him at FW....he can be champ for years.

good post. was a little shocked that Edgar wasn't pushing more in the first 2 rounds. he was just standing in Aldos jab rang. once he started to push forwarded he started to do much better. if he did that in the first 2 rounds, maybe he could have done more in the last 3 and took the fight.

I have no issues with Aldo getting the nod for the first 3 but Edgar clearly took 4 and 5.

I think that Aldo was fresh and just that good with his striking and movement. Frankie didnt push enough....but I think it was more Aldo just being that good.

The man should stay at FW and he can get that title easy....Aldo to LW

That was probably his strategy, to tired out Aldo a bit. He didn't count on the fact that he took a lot more damage early and his offense couldn't make up the balance. Still, Edgar and his fans will go around proclaiming he got robbed again.
 
Of his last 8 fights, frankie has gone to a decision in all but one.

I think edgar is great, but clearly, it's him, and not his opponents who are the problem.
He's good at pacing, but not pulling the trigger.

The one where they were landing nearly equal in the 5th round exchanges, but the deciding factor was how Frankie's head was getting snapped back, turned around, and busted open while Aldo's wasn't. That fight...

Rogan just saw it like he did. maybe what he saw Edgar was landing better in the 5th. either way, Rogan didn't say Edgar won for sure. just that he thought he won the last 2 and the 3rd was close, which wasn't that far off from what i thought./

4 I would agree.....but not 5. Aldo landed the harder and more effective strikes in 5. Frankie looked more active, but he wasnt really connected on anything that damaging....close round though

Round three was close but I still gave it to Aldo.
Round four went to Edgar.
Round five was close again but I felt Aldo landed the better strikes.

Aldo won 49-46 or 48-47 anyway you slice it. No way in hell do you give Edgar both rounds 3 and 5.

to be fair, the fact you think both rounds where close, i would think you could see how someone with a bias might think Edgar won. even if i and you don't think so.

That's because Aldo was countering Frankie's shots like crazy.... although not as much in the 5th but still did more damage. This is MMA and not limited contact Tae Kwon Do. Aldo punches harder, was more effective, landed more counter shots.

How the hell did you fools score it for Frankie?
 
You are incredibly wrong. At the very least, Aldo won the first three.
