Hey I'm fine if others have a different opinion. Vettori is tough but I don't find him very skilled. And Rockhold I'm not even going to pretend he's close to his former self. But I'm saying if you watched Costa vs. Izzy, Vettori, and Rockhold in a row, I'm shocked if you were impressed with those performances. I'll give him the fights prior to those, Costa looked more deadly and aggressive before his last fights.

We need more of guys like Volk. He is a great example of what a fighter should be like and how a fighter should carry himself. A great professional and Costa is the opposite of that to the point where he shouldn't be hired by any sane Organistation

That is exactly why they have to cut him because he got that Contract by promising to fight Chimaev he used him as a clout and now he has betrayed that which means the UFC will not need his services anymore. He has cost the UFC many main-events and Co-main-events the guy is not a professional

They initially had him fighting someone else in August then moved him to this card so no, his contract wasn't based on fighting Khamzat. He got an infection that had to be operated on immediately. They aren't cutting him over that.

No.. He got that contract due to the beef with Chimaev and he promised to take the fight. He used Chimaev as clout and now it is gone. He didn't do the one thing they prolonged with him for. Plus he humiliated Dana twice this year saying he never signed onto fights the UFC has made official. The UFC will release him

Agreed. Costa deserved the original Ikram matchup, because shit like this happens. Khamzat vs Costa was basically the main event for people who don't think Olivera has a chance.
