Becoming a more technical well rounded fighter could do well for the mythical American A class Athlete that's been thrown around. A brawling style is most likely always going to be a chintest at heavyweight. When you have islanders walking around like Tuivasa it's always going to be a tossup if you play into that style.

HW is weak though and Hardy did have some skills, his striking improved a lot.
