Surprised Usman even took this bout as he really needs to start thinking about a huge payday superfight before he gets injured or Dana trashes him like Ngannou.

There's probably more money in a rematch with Colby than anybody else than he can actually get a fight with right now.
He's not going to be able to get GSP or Khabib to come back for a "superfight". Conor is exposed goods now at LW, not even his biggest fans think he would be able to deal with a legit WW. I can't see the UFC being willing to put the division on hold for a fight with either Diaz bro. Especially after their latest performances. He won't move up to fight Izzy. So unless Khamzat actually lives up to his hype there's nothing left for Usman at WW but try to establish himself as the GOAT.

It's a gimmick, and he picked up it up because he had to or else Dana was going to cut him. He was previously a poorly paid humble wrestler and then when he went full heel, he became one of the biggest needle movers in the UFC. Us fans can not complain about fighters being meanies when we reward them with our clicks/views when they go full heel, or ask the nice guys to be cut for being 'boring'.

First fight was close. Both have improved, we've seen it from Usman's fights and it sounds like Colby's training is going well.

No idea who to pick in the second fight. Expecting a more technical fight than the first one which was quite sloppy.
