Shane burgos is the betting favorite in this fight ....even though he got knocked out by josh Emmett last fight ...and dropped and lost to kalvin cattar a couple years ago aswell .

Seems like he's a striker that doesnt wrestle, so should play into barbosas strenghts

Maybe they're betting on him being tougher and having good pressure/boxing, which was a weakness of barboza in the past. It does make sense, but Hooker was also very tough and a great finisher and it didn't really go well for him.

It's his style as a striker that makes him the betting favourite. He's a pressure boxer who's very hard to get off of you, good headmovement and crisp punches. Barboza has a very kick heavy game so Burgos pressure will make it hard for Barboza to get those nasty kicks off.

I just watching the cattar fight ....he looked decent in it ...relentless ...but got dropped bad !!!

The Emmett fight I havent seen - just record checked ...you got me .

But the cattar fight was telling for me ....he's certainly not bad ...but his legs are wide open to get mangled , and his defense up top left lots to be desired ....he just seems like a tough guy marching forward ....which should play into barbosas game - I think .

This is some Mandela effect or something. I clearly remember Josh knocking out Burgos but on wiki and Sherdog's fight finder it says Josh won by decision.
