I'm not talking about currently, but over the course of the past 30 years (including PRIDE/Strikeforce), what would you say has been the most talent-loaded/exciting division in MMA?

In my opinion:
1. Light heavyweight
2. Welterweight
3. Heavyweight
4. Lightweight
5. Featherweight
6. Middleweight
7. Bantamweight
8. Flyweight

For me, it's openweight... there were no divisions in the early UFC.

Light heavyweight has been pretty cool to watch over the past few decades largely because of the personalities (Tito, Liddell & Shamrock, etc), then when Pride fighters moved across we got Rampage & Hendo. But Jones was the best of that division & he kept the benchmark high.

Top 5 in order:
WW
LHW
HW
LW
FW

Middleweight. Anderson Silva has been the highlight of the UFC

<31>THERE IS NO FUCKIN UFC WITHOUT BROCK, PERIOD <31>

For a long tkme, LHW was always the star studded, rockstar division. Today however, it’s LW in my opinion.
