day 20: Saw big changes to the scale, however could be due to dehydration.

Training: jogging and walking on stairs for 35 minutes, study (intense) - 8 hours.
My IF timing is doing good.
Although it was hard to focus after early morning workout till 5 p.m.

Note: I am taking hydroxycut hardcore (1 pill a day ) and green coffee/tea extract - so far only positive effects noted. Helps me with working out fasted.
Interestingly I have noted good stamina increase in MMA as soon as I started jogging.
Feel lighter and faster by about 10%. My knees feel a bit wrecked after yesterdays circuits , but felt ok after jogging.

There might be some muscle imbalance in my shoulders due to all pushups and everything - my shoulders really burn during boxing , but more than normal and mostly left one, front part. Going to do more stabilizing training to develop back deltiod more.

Bought protein powder, and I think it helps me sleep better ( it has ZMA and shit) but tasted pretty bad. I will keep taking it to see any difference.
 
Day 21: Little changes despite eating quite a lot yesterday - looks like the the weight is "unfrozen" again. Will post on next Sunday.

Training: Excellent jogging section powered by hydroxycut hardcore elite.. god that stuff is nuclear, if you don't drink coffee much. 4 pills of coffee bean and green tea ( Around 500mg of caffeine today - but screw it, it destroys my hunger ).

-- 3.5 miles in 30 minutes, 1 mile slow jogging, walking/jogging on stairs to my 29th floor

Note: Watching the scale finally go down and people telling I look leaner is very rewarding, finally.
Right now I am following a mentality that would make a bodybuilder wet himself - calories as low as possible - jogging, as much as possible with no weights on top of my MMA training - which is also a cardio if you think about it.

But - bear with me, I am not planning to go like that for weeks or anything, Plus I just don't have time to monitor nutrition too closely to play with little caloric deficits. Also I am finally starting to get full (!!) when eating reasonalbe amount of food. I can normally eat a bucket of chinese food and still be hungry. Today I ate a little bit by my standard - that was enough. Amazing.
Sleep improved. I think jogging helps me to suppress hunger. All that caffeine in my pills probably helps as well.

Fitted perfectly in my 38" jeans today. Been several months lol. Veins are starting to come out a little bit, ribs as well when I flex.
 
day 22: No man's land.
Didn't sleep pretty much at all yesterday, did not go jogging. All day study and fatigue. Hunger was beastly today.

PLUS : one donut +300, one coconut water drink 140 calories, 2 chocolate eggs +200 Sorry about that folks...

Overall: 2900 TDEE + 6 hours of hard studying versus ~3600 caloric intake. In theory should be no fat gain.
 
Unfortunately I fell off a little bit. Honestly, I didn't sleep for 2 days, but had to write very hard assignments.

I didn't binge. During these 3 days, calories were kept under 4000. I think my body would welcome 3 days of resting as well.

So, most importantly, I didn't panic or get depressed - such slides are natural course of a diet, and tomorrow I am back to normal.
 
Day 26: I back , I back . Got sick 2 days ago, strength -50%.

Diet - chicken, 450 calories. Teas, Coffee., fruits-frozen - 360 calories.
Macdonalds - small buger - 500 calories.

day 27: Flu day.
No training... sick as hell. Decided to get a glimpse of good old days and play some starcraft 2.
Food: Mango - 2 kg(O.o) - 1000 calories. Mango is my sinful delight.. if only I could marry a mango tree (legal in Canada).
Korean Restaurant - rice bowl, Kim Chi Chigae (around 800 calories), protein shake - 200 cals. Misc - 200 calories.

Around 2200 calories for a strange uneventful day.
 
day 28: a day well done.
Despite that my flu is still at it's peak - I jogged for an hour ( fueled by Hydroxycut Hardcore), returned to my IF regime, did job applications to Ecuador and South Africa. Can't take Canada much longer. Dream job would be water management company or resources, so hopefully I can work for Russian Government. later in my 40s. Lets see if I can make it, those industries are damn competitive.

What else to rant about: After listening to my ex about how many guys are asking her out and how she is having fun, I told her I am thinking about asking out a girl at a Starbucks. Big big mistake.

Training: Jogging/walking 1 hour - ~800 calories. Weights 20 minutes - 150 calories.

Study - 8 hours.

Diet: Will upload a bit later.

Note: I have to say... the fat burner is making a big difference when you are fasting like I do. It gives me energy and crushes the munchies. Once again, I will recommend it to other dieters.

Looks like I am back on track, hopefully i didn't gain too much from sitting on my ass for 4 days.

Day 29: Flu finally got me.

Training: Jog/walk/sprint - 1 hour, around 800 calories, bike - 150 calories, weights - 100 calories, study - over 9000!!!.

Note: After 2 hour working out..heroically, I studied for 5 hours... heroically, but then the flu just got me. Ate korean food to help me sleep.. tomorrow will just rest.

Overall unnecessary bad-ass day.
 
Had a cheat meal of sorts when I woke up at 4 a.m. : frutare bars - 360 (amazing stuff for only 360 calories, tastes like ice cream), pokey -170 calories, coco juice - 100 calories.
 
DAY 30 UPDATE:
283.4 lbs. (An increase of 1 pound since last Sunday, but I feel my body is adjusted to this weight, fully carbed up, rested and so on. A bit dehydrated, but it's morning, Heaviest I was 2 month ago was 298lbs).

day 31: Excellent day. Felt little hunger, slightly more agression - As silly as it is - due to increased fat intake. Cold is almost gone overnight.

Training: was shit today, I think it's due to Tylenol I took (around 5 yesterday).
Walking - 45 minutes, jogging - 15 minutes, Squats and Powercleans - 15 minutes.
Around 600 calories.

Note: Achieving Fat adaptation has been a dream of mine for some time ( constantly hungry and energy levels are so so), and I think I have motivation currently to go Mild Keto. I felt good today, and fck it, lets go

KETO while I have the balls to do it.

C'mon bro... that was outright a slap to my face.

I am not the one to brag but you forced me: 4 MMA fights with Pro-MMA debut soon, 8 years of martial arts in total (Judo, Boxing, MMA), college Rugby team (3 seasons), college basketball team (2 seasons), high school basketball captain.

I have done pretty much most training there is out there, included HIITs during this log.

I love to train and I hate to skip even a single day without working out in some way.

I am jogging right now because in my exp. it is best for weight loss, because I am too busy with school, or because i am sick, or because my injured knee can't handle jumping or sprints yet.

I will always appreciate replies because it means someone gives a damn about my log, and has suggestions. But yeah.. read the intro a bit.

Feels like I am in Keto, brain feels foggy, but generally I am ok.

Tried eatinf butter/coconut oil and fish oil at lunch with lots of tea.. Something didn't work, when I ate the lean pork, the buttery taste came up through my throat, so I think It was still digesting all that fat (around 3 hours - weird ). Exercise felt ok : feels like , hmm where this weird power comes from to push the bar, and then ... BAM - it's gone, and you can barely get 220 bench off your chest).. Training with no carbs is tricky.

Training: Heavy weights, Push/pull no rest combo , total body. - Around 500 calories.

Starvation is just that – severe restriction of calories over a long period, and “starvation mode” is what anti-low-carb people tend to call it as a scare tactic. After a few days of complete fasting the metabolic rate only drops 5-10% – sometimes increases – and even on an intake of half the amount of energy you’d normally consume for maintenance, you would be fine for months without too much of a drop.

Update: It's now 5.12 a.m. and I didn't sleep at all. Given that I have exam on Monday, I will increase my calories a bit, but will still stick to keto. Going to eat Cauliflower to see if it helps sleep.

I was just getting in ketosis and was pretty grumpy when I saw your post, but I am happy somebody cares about it.

I don't watch much videos or TV, I only started following Eliot Hulse like a week ago.... a very smart person, much respect for him.

I know that the 6-pack is society-enforced sexualization of men. Corporations jumped on it, since it can shame men into buying products. The roots are probably in acceptance of gay culture, which sees male's body as a thing of beauty ( not a thing of function as we used to think of it before, or at least normal people still do).

For me... I don't know, I have been fat most of my childhood, and I got a lot of teasing while I was a kid, mostly from girls. And that despite that I was a pretty good athlete.

Then I starved myself and transformed into 230 lbs 18 year old, and ...boom, sexy girlfriends , lots of confidence and so on.

So every time I get in low body fat percentage, I get super confident and have charisma to boots, when I am fat - my charisma goes away a little bit, because I can't influence women.

So yeah, a messed up situation, but I think I need to conquer myself and finally get into crazy shape, to "set myself free" from this body image- mental image duality I developed.
 
Day 33: 285.4, bloated from so much water and sodium.
I didn't sleep untill 6 a.m., and ate 1 pound of ground pork and head of cauliflower.
After eating chinese bacon at my school, I feel slightly "less foggy" - I guess those bastards had put sugar into the meat.

Since I have to study all night for exam, I won't put my log, but overall calories are around 3500.

I just hope I am still in ketosis, otherwise I feel ok, and not that hungry.

gtood chance I will eat something late at night , so expect around 3000 keto calories for tomorrow as well.
