-sarumyan can't tell us which state or when he was the champion...

Hmmmm that's strange, if I were a judo state champ, I would certainly be able to tell people where/ when.

^Good news, my Chinese buddy. Just discovered that Sherdog has an actual "ignore list".

Because, you started sending me private messages and weird posts written obviously while being drunk (40% of the message wasn't even actual words ) - you have been reported. I think it is fair, since I have put up with your "sense of humor" for over a year now. One last thing though - if I am such a pathological liar - what on Earth would stop me from lying about the "state" in which I competed in Judo?

But...lets finish on a positive note. Negative feedback is quite motivating, and I definitely have more pressure on me to be stricter now. Back in the day Golvmop's "wouldn't last 10 days" remark definitely forced me to stick around for much longer.

4-0 as an amatuer and a judo state champ? That sounds promising. I read the pages from my last post and got a kick out of them.

I don't know if you're from Russia or if they have states, don't really care. I think the question to really ask is if the tournament was separated as belts (blues, purples, etc) or just all together?

Do you have a date for your pro debut?

And congrats on the log, it's fun to check into here and there.

Edit: also I keep thinking about starting a log, but I never do. Why is the strength and conditioning log and diet log separate?
 
In Russian sports amateur system, belts don't mean much. Though I remember I wasn't a white belt. There are tiers of sorts called "razryad" - you progress in them according to the amount of Judo fights you win, and if you win any city or state championship. They determine how good you are in a particular sport.

Then you compete according to your weight and age. I was always a really big guy (not many 13 year old kids walk around 90-95kgs), so unfortunately, I had to compete with age category above mine first couple of years. First tournament - I was 13 y/o, and my first opponent grabbed me by the collar and sleeve and starting spinning me around him to the point I made full circles without touching the ground and was eventually thrown several meters away. The whole hall was laughing, bastards lol.

I don't have a date yet, since I am taking time off to heal my knee (stretching mobility work). I am guessing it will be by the end of the year.

I recommend starting a log. It allowed me to "vent" my frustrations a little bit during tougher times last year. Which ironically made my log more fun to follow haha.
 
Day 354-355: 259.8 lbs.

I basically forced myself to party and shuffle my ass off, while still watching my diet;

Deficits in both days were around 5000 calories. I lost so much water today that my face looks skinny as hell.

Was good times though.

Morning pics Day 356 at around 261 lbs.
Note: I am a bit frustrated with my weight stalling. I do feel I have lost some weight, since clothes is fitting better and friends noted that I look a bit slimmer. I am starting to suspect my scale is messed up. It has been showing 263.5 lbs for a while now. I weighted myself in my jeans - 264.5, took the jeans off - same result. Or maybe I have started at even higher weight around 267 or so.

Note: The whole day was "coming off" from the crazy weekend. Was a bit too much fun, the whole day been groggy and lacked focus.

Note2: Got an internship starting next week.

Note3: Plans for this week: For the next 4 days I am going very low calorie, lots of LISS activity. One of my patented death weeks pretty much. I am having an important house party on friday - so I plan to refeed during it. Will allow ~4500 calories, considering that I should be pretty active on that day.
 
Right and he still won't say what state he's the champ of.....lol.
 
It would be interesting to know, Russia has a strong Judo pedigree so winning a state championships / oblast championships is a fair achievement. I'd be proud of shit at that.

However I also post my BJJ wins in my log with each competition, for example I won the 2014 British Open Nogi super heavy purple division, and you can check who I am from the results .pdf on their website. I don't give a shit about that kind of stuff, but I could be the exception to the rule.

Caloric surplus: +400-600, which is totally fine considering the last several days.

Note: Already doing some work for internship, plus getting ready for other interviews. The next 3 months or so are going to be busy.
 
Dude I've gotta give you a reality check here. Your recent progress pictures are indicating that whatever weight you have been losing in the past few months are coming straight out of your lean mass, because I'm not seeing any improved definition, but a marked decrease in the size of your shoulders, arms and chest. Haven't been following your log recently but you need to start hitting the iron again regularly (if you're not already) and get a solid meal plan in order if you're planning on progressing.
