Yes, Perry redeemed himself for that retarded penalty earlier. That pass to McDavid was insane.

You can't ask a gritty player like Perry not to take penalties. These guys always play on the edge. Perry played one year in Montreal and I quickly became a huge fan. He will do anything to make his team win.

He was humble enough to become a valuable role player after being a star because he realized he didn't have the speed and skills he once had.

It's going to happen. Like I've said. He plays on the edge. This type of player will cost you some games, but he will win you many more games. He drives opponents insane.

Players like Perry, Marchand and Wilson will always take bad penalties. You have to accept the good with the bad. Tell me Toronto doesn't need a Perry? Tell me Montreal doesn't need a Perry?
