My Sabres have more playoff success in the last 20 years and they’ve missed the playoffs 14 straight years lmao
Leafs are the Cleveland Browns of hockey
LA Clippers of the NHL

I don't how bad the Browns really are, but I think the Clippers are more apt, as they have barely been past the second round in all their history. That's the Leafs. Our Stanley Cup was Doug Gilmore scoring that cool OT wraparound goal on St Louis...in the early 90's. Had some decent runs with the Sundin crew too, but that's all we got, post league expansion.

It's been 14 years?!?!?!

I think the Leafs are worse. Browns never have expectations and their fans are the new lovable losers since the Cubs finally won another World Series. Pride in losing and pride in just how shitty it is living in northeast Ohio.
Leafs have had really good teams (well at least really good until the yoffs start).

The Leafs are the Vikings of the NHL. Periods of winning, heartbreaking playoffs failures, and they're always talking about some Championship from when people still had black and white TVs. Add in a division rival from a few hours east who has been winning Championships all the goddamn time...

Periods of winning during the regular season doesn't count
