seeing how the canucks usually get one goal for every 3 goals scored against them, the hockey math suggests that one goal for the canucks is about equal to 3 goals for every other team so i guess your point is valid.

sure ovechkin might only have around 500 goals right now as a canuck but it would actually be worth about 1500 non-canuck goals, and gretzky would have bought him that rolls royce about 8.33 years ago.
