i know a fair bunch of them. i almost feel bad for them. but then i don't because as a canucks fan i'm used to the same level of disappointment every year. but no matter how the cards play out this season, and how badly we find ways to blow a lead or get fucked over by the referees, i'll still be content just as long as we finish ahead of the oilers. those guys fucking suck.

Not really.. One of my buddies has been a habs fan since forever. The disappointment isn't just losing. It's losing while having 24 Cups in their history. It was engrained in their psyche that they will win. He still has VHS tapes of their last win. I told him he needs to digitise them at the very least. Could be worth a small amount of $$$

I never believed it until I went to Montreal in 2008. I'd arrived a few days before and got tickets to the game 7 vs Boston. They won and when we woke up after a night of drinking, all we saw was apparently $2m in damage and counting was done to stores on St. Catherines

That was awesome. It was even funnier when they announced it was Point's goal and the hats came flying out of the stands.

Would have been more epic had it not hit point's skate though. Vasilievskiy was the last one to touch the puck. A goalie goal with a goalie still in net is incredibly rare. its only happened once when Brodeur scored it as Ellis was going to the bench for the extra attacker lol.

Brodeur is the reason we have the trapezoid.
