Try to get Pettersson from Canucks idk? Good center and without checking he manages to stay healthy (compared to Hughes atlest).

Yeah Leafs is not possible without Marner leaving but he is free agent next summer no?
Same as Rantanen and if both tell their teams wont be signing new contracts, would not rule out a trade.

Knights need help on the back end and havent made big signing for playoff push, may i suggest Erik Karlsson? <lol>

Seems Trotz is offering O'Reilly to teams, Jets might be where he ends up?

Full no movement clause so he isn't going anywhere unless he wants to, and from everything I've read he doesn't.

A straight one for one with Carolina would work though.

Knights can have EK for a bag of pucks as far as I'm concerned. That's the one trade that really pisses me off that the Pens made. Didn't need him, and way too expensive to have for a team that should have started the rebuild before he was acquired.

With Tkachuk out for the season I could see it happening if they were in a different conference. I don't see either Toronto or Carolina willing to help the Panthers out.

Yeah. Toronto are pretty bad organization though so anything is possible
 
I think the leafs are about due for a really shitty franchise move. Been a minute since rask got moved and they got clarkson

I get that this isn't a winning mentality, but the Devils aren't that great this season anyway and no replacement for him will be as good as Jack, so why should they waste assets right now?

They should get more scoring depth regardless, Fitzgerald overcompensating on defense, Mercer not developing, the Palat deal not working etc. left them a couple of forwards short, he has to correct that. Then pray that the injury isn't that bad.

Yeah, it would require Marner wanting to leave and would not bet on it but never know.

Yeah that was a strange one, though with Crosby, Malkin and Letang would still drag the team high ehough on the standings that high draft picks are unlikely.

Well just need to make the playoffs and knockout Rangers in first round. (Assuming both make it there ofc)
