My biggest conundrum is that I'm from the US. I want to cheer for a US team. Haas typically stinks and I don't care for or against Ocon and Bearman. I love Bottas, one of my top 3 drivers.....but I associate Cadillac with old people cars.

It's kind of funny b/c Max is my favorite driver so Red Bull has been my favorite team. Now I can at least have more reason to cheer for them I guess.

I am a brand new Nascar fan. I watched both races this year and holy shit I think I'm hooked now. 2 races doubles my lifelong total.

I need a favorite driver or team and I don't know who the fuck most of these guys are. Am I allowed to like drivers of different teams? What's culturally acceptable here?

What’s your favourite car brand between Ford, Chev and Toyota? The whole point of NASCAR was to create hyper loyal car brand fans so that when you win on Sunday, you sell on Monday.

Having a top 3 favourite drivers from different “teams” and manufacturers is whack

Really, you can like whomever you want. Manufacturer loyalty isn't what it was 20 or 30 years ago. It's more about the drivers now with the younger/newer fans.

I would temper expectations for the rest of the season. Not every track is Daytona or Talladega or Atlanta. COTA could very well be a stinker as the car, historically, doesn't race well on road courses and SVG and Zilisch could torch the field.

I don't have any car brand allegiance. Which one likes to cheat or bend the rules of their cars, I respect those efforts.

I did look at the track and anticipate things looking drastically different. I would imagine you have some drivers who can drive this well and some who can't. Are there any drivers who are good at both?
