Why would Marcus Freeman leave Notre Dame for Penn State?

Just as much salary, conference path to playoffs, lower academic restrictions, just as much of a football blue blood. At some point PSU will find a coach that can out recruit Ohio Shit.

Personally I'd prefer they go after Dan Lanning.
