Nah I really do believe it opened many people's eyes about how biased all of those mainstream "news" networks are.

Might be misused often in a partisan way, but the underlying change in people's perception of those networks is real. And it's a good thing.

I guess people always kinda knew the left vs. right thing was CNN vs. Fox, but I don't think people realized just how full of shit they've been all this time. All of them.

Even in Europe I've seen opinions shift about the government TV networks. I guess looking at the bigger picture you're pretty well off with the BBC.

Yeah I think that's true, and I also feel that way about the BBC. A bastion that comes under attack, sometimes rightly, sometimes wrongly, but generally centrist.
