Yup. Previous avatar was the normal Archon, this is the dark archon. Made the switch in honour of Dark Brandon seemingly tanking Kamala’s campaign. Well at least counter programming her on The View with his own press conference and standing up for Desantis lol

Must be the high res but I never recalled the Dark Archons having hoods. Rock on man, I love Protoss.

I don’t think it is a hood, just the lighting with their head shape makes it look like it. But yea the Protoss are awesome. My favourite moments of the games was the cinematic of them starting to take back Auir and start warping in and then Tassardar warping in his carrier to kamikaze the overmind.

As for Harris, her initial support was 100% inflated by the media and was only a matter of time before it deflated. They couldn’t keep her from speaking the entire 3 months or however long of her being the candidate going into the election. She is really just that bad that every time she speaks in public, you can see her odds decline.

It is still going to be razor close tho and trump is 100% correct with the “too big to rig” slogan. Because tho the hype for Harris was 100% manufactured, it did allow them to fundraise a LOT, which will fund their get out the vote, ballot harvesting operations

Edit: it def does look like a hood now that I look closely lol. I never knew either! I don’t think a dark archon was in any of the cinematic, only the small unit portraits

StarCraft II was the first indication to me that Blizzard was dying. I still think the gameplay is 10/10, it's in my top three RTS games of all time. I just mean the story was really bleh. But I have to say that the cinematics, particularly Legacy, which you've cited, is one of the most amazing three minutes I've ever seen in gaming story telling. They all lay down their lives just so that one Pylon can finish. There's one Zealot left, defiant. And the moment the Pylon completes hundreds of warriors warp in. The Archon taking on the Ultralisk. All of it was awesome because it was a short story built on the game mechanics.

Yeah even this morning the "gap" between Harris and Trump is widening. He now has more than a five point lead on Electionbettingodds. As you said though, it's going to be very, very close. Wonder what Allan Lichtman is going to say if he turns out to be wrong. I can't remember how he wore it the last time his prediction fell through. His track record is amazing though so I doubt he will have trouble accepting an occasional L.

Yup, I agree, the game play is amazing but story lacked. SC1 and brood war were just great sci-fi. I think SC2 was too focused on individual characters, where as in StarCraft 1 the characters were used to push the over all story line, rather than individual character arcs.

Warcraft 3 had the perfect mix of individual character arcs along with overall storyline

I love Warcraft 1, 2, and 3, but could never get into WOW
