This is why you can't listen to people that say the regular season doesn't matter, and they are everywhere, even on this forum.

Definitely a paper tiger in terms of seeding. We all know this year is a development season, with so much youth on the team you don't win a championship. Presti is going to have to get someone who can grab boards this summer by moving up in the draft or packaging Giddey + picks.

Still, the guys held their composure and got a tough fought win. I'm so happy to see this core getting yoff exp and not completely folding. This game one would be an L against any full strength contender though.

I’m happy with them getting out of the first round. They’re in such a hard conference but you don’t want to lose to a play-in team.

Game 1 showed their character. They were a bit nervous but got the win at the end. In 2nd round, they'll lose to the Clips. But if they play the Mavs, I can see them moving forward. They'll lock up the Mavs.

Lot of overreaction one game in but I see it tightening up and 1/2 of the series evening up.

My predictions to win game 2: Suns, Mavs, 76ers, Magic

Yeah, they're a better team when everyone is rolling right from the jump. LeBald pretending he's a hero and trying to dominate the game always ends badly. Once he starts struggling he ends up looking at everyone like they're the issue and they're looking at him confused because this is what he wanted.

It reminds me of when they beat the Celtics without LeCan or AD. Everyone played well because they weren't being treated like children. Honestly, I'd consider just having LeBrick come off the bench. The Flakes will have a better 48 minutes with everyone involved.
