Certainly, his style is to avoid contact 90% of the time. Occasionally he will throw or draw a bump close to the rim then go up. F all that free throw shit. <45> His game is just centered around getting buckets.
I wish he would be more like Luka looking to draw contact but he would just end up getting hurt due to his size unfortunately

Hot damn, Clippers win probability plummeted from 85% to 5% in no time.

Bucks without Giannis showing a lot of heart late. Dame with a big game, and the ritalin needing Bobby Portis Jr. Told ya'll Bucks were gonna git gud. Doc Rivers bless.

I pondered the idea of betting Milwaukee when they were 7 points behind but then saw Giannis is not playing and left it alone and instead bet on Jazz and OKC lol. I got a 25 free bet should have done it.

Mavs roster has awful role players imo because Cubes thinks he has his Dirk, he just needs his Jason Terry (15ppg-20ppg side kick type players). He has been over bidding on these types his whole career. He never bids on those 15-20ppg players who also play defense though.

People forget Dirk literally went god mode to finally get over the hump in a year when their roster peaked in terms of fit, age, and Dirks God mode. Literally a 1 in a million run for the Mavs that year with Dorks performance (50 points on 25 shots). So that roster construction ain't gonna work without a blessing from God.

The funny thing is the things they lack the most and need from their role players are the exact characteristics of the players they let go or traded. They desperately need a great wing defender (hello Dorian Finney-Smith and Dinwiddie who has had the highest +\- since joining the Lakers mainly due to his defense somehow), another ball handler that can create their own shot and run the second unit (Brunson and Dinwiddie fit this perfectly and it worked with Luka).

Shit is more complex than that. When the Mavericks got packed up in the WCF there was the feeling in Dallas that the team had peaked with its present construction. Losing Brunson was a fuck up but there was already the presumption that the team had to do 2 things, find a "Robin" for Luka, and get larger as a team. Since then, Nico and Cuban have been making moves at every opportunity, with mostly only shit on a platter to offer. They landed Kyrie Irving and resigned him, which was the fear. They drafted 7'1" DLive and they picked up Gafford to back him up, as well as PJ Washington in the deal. This present squad is probably the most well constructed since the 2011 team.

Who is to blame? Bad luck with constant widespread injuries? Luka? J. Kidd? Despite the team taking steps to get bigger, sign a Robin, and increase bench depth, all 3 of which they have done, who is to blame for why they show no difference in games won?

If they lose tonight Kidd will have to be escorted from the arena.

I agree but that is where a good owner/GM would have patience with the development of a player that was clearly on an upward trajectory (Brunson) and already had proven success on the team. Roster was bad to start the season (I know we argued about this a lot but it was obvious that was true when they got rid of a bunch of guys midseason) and it’s mediocre as it stands now. The blame belongs to everyone at this point but a big part of it is the weaknesses I brought up. There’s a reason everyone is now pissed at them letting Brunson leave and they literally tried to trade for Dinwiddie and DFS lmao.

Who are these clowns they've added to TNT broadcasts? Bring back Sir Charles and Ernie. Get rid of these clowns. They're hanging Shaq out to dry.

Edit: They're in disarray. They said don't count out Donovan Mitchell who ain't even playing. Then said the Nuggets-Suns game was in Phoenix when it's not. And no Booker.

Edit: Nice that there are three pretty good games on the docket today.

This.

Mazulla once again showing the Celshits are front runners under him and dog shit when teams punch them in the mouth.

I'm on a bit of a delay, but holy shit are they ever letting Nurkic hack away.

Great comeback for the Cavs. Second game in a row i've seen where they just start powering down threes late.

Edit: Hot damn Cookie Monster hit a gorgeous sombor shuffle 1st quarter buzzer beater. Spin around one legged rainbow shot ... nothing but the bottom of the net.

What's your feelings on Mobley?

I like him, but JB tries to play him as a stretch 4, and it's not working. He's a traditional 5 w/elite defensive ability. He has next to zero threat as an outside shooter. Don't see him and Allen co-existing long term.
