Srs tho playing at the gym is cancer, always a bunch of has been explosive guys trying to relive their high school glory by stacking their teams with their clique and play hero ball. Then you get some high school kids who just jack up ridiculous 3’s. I used to see lahomo and his buddies do that when id play in chino hills. I remember him running in circles around the court celebrating making a half court shot one time lol. Cringe af. Was also playing with his shirt off(indoors) to show off his cool new chest tattoo.

From what I understood lahomo was a tool, Lonzo was actually pretty chill. Didn’t hear shit about the other brother but he’s an irrelevant can anyways.

But accepting the NBA cup as a championship is an important step to combat "ring culture". 2 titles means there will be less great players you can shame for never winning anything. And I think long term that can help combat the toxicity in basketball media.

Why would you shame great players for not winning championships? It's a team effort. All the f4gs in this thread and nba dipshits in general are all going to hate anyways. It's easier to be an ignorant loser than it is to be an educated enjoyer of basketball. Most people don't even watch games, or when they do, they tune in and out.

Do they though? If you watch the NBA that "hot take shit" is aggressively shoved into your face. Inside the NBA, First Take, Undisputed, NBA twitter do you think it's reasonable to expect most people to ignore all of that or consume it and come to a radically different conclusion than all those shows are telling you to come to? Its called ring "culture" because its a culture. There really isn't a viable alternative. The independent creators on YT etc largely subscribe to ring culture that the MS basketball media does.

If you look at the football media they do a much better job teaching about the actual game. And they STILL have ring culture its just not as strong or dominant because with 22 starters its more obvious the individual has no control over the outcome. But QBs still get treated like NBA guys.

You are right though. Rings are used as the only reason a player is elevated over another in terms of rankings for some, which shouldn’t be the case. Then we got guys like Shaq who shit on Charles for having no rings, when it really doesn’t matter. He is still one of the greats and in the HOF. Any knowledgeable non hating nba fan should know rings aren’t the end all, be all.
