I've seen and heard enough. This "In Season Tournament of Nothing", is the most retarded thing I've seen in the NBA. I'm sure it's just some excuse to pass some money around and keep the NBAPA happy, but what a joke. The announcers can't even muster a single fuck to give. Does anybody know anything about it? Is anyone paying attention to the seeding or whatever? This shit is embarrassing on so many levels. Gonna be a crossword puzzle answer in a few years.

Nah, I don't think they really care about a simple bonus check of what? Half a mil? It's chump change to 95% of those guys. It's not nothing, but they aren't focusing on this shit. Ain't gonna be no parades or endorsement deals for being part of the "In Season Tournament" Champions.

The NBA is getting stupid with their "tournaments". The "play in" shit is bad enough. Now you have a tournament that means absolutely nothing, and is impossible to even begin to care about. They just have some cash to throw around for shits and giggles. It's a strike buffer.

95% is too high.

To someone like Steph Curry or Klay Thompsons, 500k is loose change in the couch. However, the majority of the team isn't making 40 million a year.

For example, the Warriors have 14 roster spots. 9 of which are making 8 million of less and 4 of them are making 2 million or less.
 
I don't jump into Lebron vs Jordan debates. But here's a stat.

Jordan played 179 playoff games in 13 seasons and won the last game 6 times.

Lebron has played 282 playoff games in 17 seasons and won the last game 4 times.
 
Dillon Brooks is such a bitch. He's been jawing with Luka the entire game.
 
Man this Mavs team is so fun.. Kyrie and Luka are two of the top 3 most exciting offensive players in the league.

Man Kyrie had some beautiful moments in this game.
 
You know who would be athletic enough to try and slow down Kyrie or Luka? Cam Whitmore. Instead Dillon Brooks can ass just talks shit and gets beat all night long.

Sorry to break it to you but it does mean something. I said it before too like others have said, games still count towards your official record and the money incentive is big. Warriors and twolves took it serious during their “tournament game” ruckus and also look at the example below.

 
Steph Curry and Klay Thompson flop like a motherfucker every time they shoot the ball. And the refs give them the call about half the time.

Jordan played in a weak expansion era, with low level talent. Jordan couldn't handle the pressure of playing basketball so he quit for multiple seasons.
