That’s my point I made before the series started too with Corona. The Mavs didn’t have a disadvantage in the paint because of exactly what we know about Kat. He will always be on the perimeter on offense and he/Rudy would get caught up in the pick n roll which has all come true. I broke it down to a T. It’s just who Kat is and always has been so it’s why I said it was never a bad matchup.
KAT was doing good work in the post for the Denver series and even the Suns series. To revert back to his old self after two series of consistent work is not normal. It's hopeful.

Yes against teams with no inside presence or good defensive bigs which I also brought up. He reverts back to his normal self when he doesn’t have the confidence to play inside as we have seen majority of this series

So now Denver has poor post defense?

Correct. Aren’t you the guy who constantly shits on Joker for being horrible defensively? Having your center be bad like you have said numerous times indicates this. Gordon also isn’t a consistently good post defender.

Mix those in with the fact they are the 3rd worst at protecting the paint out of every team in the playoffs (opponent paint points). Want to know the two teams worse during these playoffs? The Lakers and wait for it, the other team the Twolves played, the Suns. So yes, my original point still stands.

Thats what I said last year, I said Gordon and MPJ both on the defensive side of the ball played outside of their norm. Gordon is a great wing defender and he's strong, but he wont ever be able to set his feet to be a rim protecter. He's always on help. He's why Joker's defensive numbers look better. Last year he made insane plays, a lot like Wiggins did on the Warriors. They're both similar level players. Great athleticism and strength but inconsistent as hell.

Yes, the Suns had issues in the paint defensively this season. Nurkic is absolutely not pulling his weight on that squad as a rim protector. Before he was at least decent. Now he's atrocious. I don't know how you remedy that. You can say coaching but a lot of rim protection is being intelligent and just being int he right spot.

Yeah great points. I thought you were disagreeing with me about the nuggets bad interior defense, my bad. I agree with you on all of these points. This does show that Kat was going against two of the top 3 worst interior teams though so the real Kat we are seeing is from this series.

Whoever chose the background music for this ESPN Walton tribute segment should be shot....or at least should have retired 20 years ago.

Minnesota is terribly coached they are a shell of what they could be . They should of beat Dsllas easily as they got the better team imo . Dallas is 1 mega star Luka, 1 star in Kyrie and so.e role players . Boston is stacked everywhere and we'll coached. No chance I see it tougher than 4-2 but I think more likely a sweep or 4-1.

Lol, you haven't been watching the games, or you're not that bright.

Mavs in this system are just better than the Wolves, mavs role players have been more effective than the Wolves' especially offensively.

The Wolves just out dueled the Nuggets ffs, don't lean on 'coaching' now.

3-0 means that the mavs are better in a multitude of ways. But the main issue is that they have a much much more dynamic offense, from top to bottom.

Celtics are formidable but that series should go 6-7 games. Tatum and Brown haven't faced anything close to the Mavs yet.
