i didn't really have a gameplan to counter that strategy. perhaps next year i can train with @Super_Nintendo and we can put our differences aside, share strategies and combine forces to become better shitposters. i will become upgraded to icuckforbeer and Super_Nintendo will be reincarnated as Nintendo_64. together we will become an unstoppable shitposting force to be reckoned with.

Best Poster - It's @Deorum for me because i like the style. @BFoe is also a great poster, could have easily been him, as i said, it came down to a style vote.
Worst poster - i don't think either is a "worst poster", but i will vote for @idrankyourbeer because he seems to want to win.
Best TS - @Arkain2K , but @LeonardoBjj is a strong contender
Worst TS - easily @PEB. Guy is an absolute disaster and most of the things he posts i doubt he even understands what they're about.
Best mod - @irish_thug easily. a calming presence in this hellhole.
Worst mod - it's @Strychnine for me, if he's not nominated i have no vote for this category.
best ban - has to be @skold. brackis was at least somewhat smart on certain subjects. this skold dude was as annoying and hostile as brakis but without the intellect. he was basically just a hate bot.
worst ban - i mean, it's not really a ban, but has to be @Cajun
starman awards - i don't know what that is but will vote for @idrankyourbeer because he seems to want awards this year. edit - oh he's not nominated, i looked at the poll wrong. anyway, i still vote for him. i don't know what this award is about.

i'm just here to compete for worst poster. i don't want to get too greedy and walk away with all the awards and then be referred to as the champ-champ-champ-champ-champ-champ....etc. i'd have to hire somebody to wheelbarrow all of my trophies home.

i am only choosing to compete in one weight division just to be fair to the rest of the sherdoggers and give them a chance to win something this year. even if it's a starman award.

the only reason i even made the final nomination for the "poster most likely to get banned" category is because @skold and @Super_Nintendo were running away with it in that category, but skold ended up getting himself banned before they could even finalize this card, so ultimately dana white and the ufc had to remove skold from the match and i got called up on short notice as a last minute replacement. i am taking one for the team here and saving this event! even though right now i am getting severely beat down and in well over my head trying to punch above my weight class in this matchup. but the show must go on. as long as dana shoots me some cold beers and some SlapFights merch after this embarassing lopsided performance is over with, i'll be at peace with it.

starman award goes to the poster with the biggest meltdown of the year. @Saye_mc and @Super_Nintendo might have had this category on lock until @PEDS Help me Post came along and melted down in the 2023 WR awards nomination thread, in which nobody ever would have really ever nominated the guy for a Starman until he came in there and melted the fuck down at some mods over some post moderations and made himself a prime candidate for the Starman and then suddenly everyone started voting for him lol.

thanks to that guy we've actually got ourselves a hockey game in that category, when it could have turned out to be a one legged horse in an ass kicking contest. he just showed up and stepped in at the very last minute and for his efforts it looks like he might just walk away with his trophy of shame.

@BFoe vs. Me is a very awkward comparison, tbh. He's a poster who engages heavily in debates around domestic policy, social issues, and the ramifications of court rulings (in exquisite detail). He's a left-wing stalwart, whereas I'm almost chiefly concerned with discussing national interests, geopolitics, and history.

I think the bulk of our direct interaction on here has consisted of him scolding me for being indifferent towards gay rights, and some other little disagreements over the 2nd Amendment (I'm a 2A radical, he's anything but). That said, I very much appreciate his intellect, knowledge, and compassion. Dude is all sorts of human, great guy.
