Yea, it was pretty well known out here thats what really triggered his meltdown, walked in on them inside Robbins room at the team hotel and lost his mind, understandably so imo
Thats also why Terry Kirby never played another down in the NFL, he was already nearing the end of the line and that just put a stamp on it
Its amazing they were able to keep it a secret back then, no freaking way the story doesnt leak all over the place now days

I never followed the NFL til the Raiders came back to Oakland so I dont know any of the LA stuff

You missed the days of the LA Raiders? That's a shame.

It's a wonder I didnt become a 9ers fan after Deion single handedly took over the game and embarrassed the Falcons at the first NFL game I ever went to

Does anyone else think that if Bama wins they'll still need either FSU or Texas to lose? I think the potential for the SEC getting left out is likely if both of them win.
Need both to lose

Did someone say an SEC free playoffs?

Cash rules everything

How so?

Michigan
Oregon
FSU or Texas
Bama
This feels like an easy year for the committee to leave out Bama. Won’t be able to when it goes to 12 teams. As a Bama fan don’t think we deserve it.

@My Spot Pittsburg beat San Ramon Valley last night to capture the D-1 strap and complete a 13-0 season, now its on to the next round off this insanely complicated tournament structure

Gonna need @SoCalprodigy09 to explain that shit again

Pittsburg is in the 3rd place bracket for State playoffs. The open division finals between Mater Dei and San Mateo Serra is the number 1 game. That's selected by a committee. For the rest of the semis, they're to figure out who's gonna represent the North/South in the finals.

There were mainly two games I was interested in Saturday. Ohio State at Michigan and Wisconsin at Minnesota. I hate Ohio State like every Big Ten fan who isn't an Ohio State fan. I enjoyed watching them lose but it seemed like they got some very bad calls against them. Now Michigan has to play Iowa in the Big Ten title game. If Iowa could beat them it would really turn things upside down.

The Wisconsin at Minnesota game was more of a local contest. The Badgers had lost the last three times so it was good to see the Badgers win and prevent Minnesota from becoming bowl eligible which was even more satisfying.

So the best teams from each classification play for the open title? I know that Mater Dei beat Bosco to win the southern section D1 title.

But what about the other 13 divisions in the southern section?

Does a school have to choose between winning their classification vs winning the open division?

Do you guys think that cornerback will have to transfer out of Auburn after giving up that touchdown?
Will he ever be able to show his face again?

It's pretty much implied that whoever wins the southern section division 1 championship is the best team in southern California so that's why whoever wins that one gets chosen. The other sectional winners play in regional championships against teams from San Diego/Imperial County to represent Socal in lower division state championships next week.

It seems like up north they get a choice. The team Pittsburg beat to win their sectionals lost the previous week to Concord De La Salle and got a mulligan game against Pittsburgh in their sectional championship. What's weird is that De La Salle didn't get chosen to represent NorCal in the open division, which makes me wonder why they had a open division playoff bracket in the first place.

That annoys a lot of people down in socal, because once you lose in sectionals the season is over. It's really a way to give NorCal teams a chance to send more of their stronger teams to state or else they'd never win any of these state championship games.
