I know @therealdope has talked about reading SI in his school library when he was a little crumb snatcher back during the Billy Sims OU days.

My math teacher in high school had every issue of SI in the class, he had all the covers stapled to the walls and we would read the issues instead of doing work, it was the only acceptable goof off that he would let us get away with

That's what made me a Bo Jackson fan, reading about him and seeing all his cool pics on the cover and in the stories, Neon Deion also

We had to wait until Sports Illustrated issue came out until we knew the details of a lot of big college games.

RE: Bo Jackson

I'm from that generation that had a prime athletic MJ poster, an SI swimsuit pic (most likely to be Kathy Ireland), and the Bo Jackson Black and Blue poster, on their wall in HS.

We also had SI for Kids, sometimes there were cheap sports cards in each issue and I'd remove the ones that were related to UF or Shaq.

Our library never had the swimsuit issues since they were considered "inappropriate."

It was High Phi Slamma Jamma, and I remember them well. Clyde Drexler jumped over a Memphis player for a dunk. Great memories.

They took the L though and lost by one point in their section title game.

Which probably means they'll move on to the next round
California playoffs are booked by the same people that book those wild Luchas De Apuestas tourneys where the losers advance imo

I don't think so. The team that beat them (Granite Hills) moved on and is playing for the same division title as De La Salle.

His older son was at Michigan, transferred to Colorado, got processed by Deion, and is at Arizona now.
Taylor and that other Colorado wide receiver are having a good laugh right now. Both were pretty important to Arizona’s success this year. I would absolutely love to have been a fly on the wall when the Buffs staff evaluated Upshaw and L-C.
