I'm not trying to shit on Auburn but I couldn't imagine rooting for them over Bama unless I had some sort of connection to the school. It has to be like rooting for GT over UGA.
 
If the Chargers fire Staley (which they should) and they hire Harbaugh then I know just the guy to be Michigan's next HC.

Born in Michigan? Check.
Grew up in Michigan? Check.
Alum? Check.
Student athlete? Check.
Swag for recruiting? Check.
Bonus? World famous mathematician.

If you still don't know who I'm talking about then let's just say Michigan would have a 141.66% chance of beating Ohio St almost every year.

You know why Flair started rooting for Michigan? Apparently he was at a UGA game a couple of years ago (his step daughter attended and ran track there) and wanted to shake Kirby's hand but got denied. So he got butthurt and switched his allegiance to Michigan once they were announced as UGA's playoff opponent and because he's friends with Harbaugh now.
 
Flair was a UF fan back in the 80s when he was on top of the world and didn't need the money. It's about the only thing we could brag about before Spurrier came back.

Must've been longer than a few years ago because I remember the old bad toothed butt sucking bastard with skin like a Sharpe puppy promoting Michigan for at least 5 years..

Did you ever cross paths with Regan Upshaw in the mean halls of Pittsburg HS? He was on the team that beat De La Salle in the Coliseum and later started for the SB Raiders team.

Yea, I know Regan, he was friends with all my cousins that were one year older than me, first time I went to the training camp fan fest Regan got hella excited to see us and introduced us around to the team, it was a cool moment, made young ole Pete feel like a big deal when I was standing there having a conversation with Rich Gannon

His kids play in the SEC or ACC, I think

His older son was at Michigan, transferred to Colorado, got processed by Deion, and is at Arizona now.
 
Hot damn, he was on the 94 Arizona team that was SI's preseason #1 (I must've spent hours reading their CFB preview issue in the elementary school library). I bet he doesn't like to talk about that season though.
