Even Shaq and Barkley came out with common sense responses to the incident.

"I feel just bad the young lady lost her life, but we do have to take into account her boyfriend did shoot at the cops and shot a cop," Barkley said during pregame coverage of the NBA's Western Conference Finals Thursday.

Of course, they're facing backlash for that stance.
Doesn't follow the victim narrative.

Well, Shaq comes from a family of cops and I think he wanted to be one and did serve as one or something. He even played a cop in grown ups. Haha. So not surprising there.

Any Supercross or Motocross fans here? The outdoors have been pretty damn good and looks to be a 3 way battle to the last moto of the year.
 
Mick schumi getting a test this weekend. Hard folllowing in your dads footsteps when some consider him one of the best ever.

on another note, just crunching numbers and it seemed that schumis record wins and titles were out of reach at one point. With Lewis closer to tying wins and titles, what are the chances he makes the 100/100 club? Wins/poles?

Id say that is a stretch, but also depends how long he wants to race.

If someone comes busting into my house in the middle of the night, shots will be fired but there is some question if Taylor's boyfriend even fired a shot. It may be that one of the officers in the raid accidentally shot the officer that was hit. Police have to be held responsible at some point for what they do. They should be tried like anyone else who kills somebody. Kentucky is a Castle Doctrine State so Taylor's boyfriend was well within his rights to shoot.
 
Meanwhile, Honda is pulling out of Formula One after 2021 saying their focus will be on electric vehicles.

Read that too. Crazy, only 3 engine manufacturers in Mercedes, Ferrari and Renault. Another Japanese maker can throw their hat in the ring, but who would realistically? Toyota?

I wonder if Honda will pull out of Indycar too. They had committed to the 2022 season when the hybrids will be used and they would have the Formula One experience with that. It's the stockholders that see racing as a loss because it doesn't bring the sales.

It will certainly be a consideration for all of racing. It doesn't seem like Honda is interested in electric car racing either.

Sponsorship is dying and manufacturers are pulling out. Racing is in trouble.

Honda may return for the electric era. The Honda president said they’re ending their formula one participation to focus on going full electric in their vehicles by 2030. But yeah, it’s going to be strange transition in racing for sure.
