How far do you limit company’s ?

What companies, what limitations, at what cost to the economy?

It’s all just a fantasy for them. Every single one of them knows Bernie can’t actually push any of this through. They are feelings driven people. They simply don’t care about the reality of the situation.

Most do pay taxes and fair wages ..or why would people work for that company ?
So what’s fair wages in your eyes ?

Lots of corporations do not pay any taxes.

The lowest paying jobs in the county should pay enough to have a decent life, afford a home and have medical care. Whatever that is should be the bottom.

I don't consider that question relevant. I think in terms of the overall benefit to everyone involved and from that perspective I think we would be better off with corporations who are forced to pay much higher wages, pay a lot more taxes (starting at 0 for many) and be broken up if/when they get too big.

And when they move overseas because of your shitty policies?

Then you have no jobs provided, no taxes paid, and none of the benefits to us consumers.

Thanks Bernie...

We can already make sure that not a single government contract goes to a corporation that does this. Im sure we can come up with some other creative ways to punish traitorous corporations that have no patriotism or care for our county and the people in it.

I am an ameriCAN. I think we can do this well if we want too.

But you still don’t know, the majority do pay taxes and what’s that set amount of lowest wages that can accomplish what you’re saying? You think it is different by each city, also state because of cost of living state and local taxes. Cost of living and what you described can’t happen in San Francisco and a small town in Montana with the same wages like 18 a hr or something. You would have more bigger corporations and less small business that way. You have a simple look and solution on this but it requires a very complex view. I know big corporations are the boogie man talking points but I feel the government should have minor roles and the consumers and market should have more power and say so.

So, you haven’t actually thought through that part?

The most important part? You just gloss over?

“We’ll come up with something”

^^^ and this ladies and gentlemen is why you don’t vote democrat. All of their policies are feelings based with zero thought or care given about the realities of the situation.

News flash, if you make a shitty business environment in the US, companies will leave.

I can be done and easily once people want to do it. If a livable minimum wage with health care is not possible under this system then this system needs a total overhaul.

I am willing to say that no one should have more than they need until everyone has what they need.

This is the philosophical underpinning from which we must work outwards towards solutions.

This is why you don't vote for me dummy.

Other people can figure this out. We DO have enough resources to go around. Greed is the reason its not shared with the least among us.

Tucker is simply terrible.

I mean, the CNN commentary wasn’t great, and they clearly don’t prefer Bernie... but that’s not news.

If you pay attention to the way Tucker framed his segment, though, (“The night Bernie became the Democratic nominee...” lol), the entire point is to set the narrative that if/when Bernie doesn’t get the nomination it will be because CNN (boo hiss), the Democratic establishment (double boo hiss), and Wall Street (boo hiss... except when it comes to Trump bragging about the stock market) got together to SCREW him!

So, how can anybody possibly vote for a Democrat after they SCREWED Bernie twice to do the bidding of their corporate masters!?!

Only problem with this narrative: Bernie hasn’t led a single national poll since Biden entered the race.

But still... if Biden wins the nomination, it won’t be because he is popular with middle income voters, suburban white women, African Americans, and voters over 55... it will be because the CROOKED DEMOCRATS SCREWED BERNIE AGAIN!!!

Just nonsense.

Let me ask you an honest question, which is fundamentally the difference between you and I.

Should a person who’s made all the wrong decisions in life, be rewarded for their behavior with handouts from the government? Should they face any consequences for their choices?

It seems to me that your world view does not include personal responsibility.

Your framing reveals wrong think IMO. The right question to ask is, should the broken and wounded and less intelligent and less beautiful and less charismatic and less capable and handicapped be given a certain level of dignity as a human being?

I side with Jesus on the answer to this. Food, shelter, and healthcare are the fundamental base for anyone who is willing and able to work and a right for everyone who is unable to work and there are really good reasons for this the most important of which is the spiritual development of the broken and wounded but just as importantly of those who value unused and uneeded money in the bank over the welfare of human beings.

The last word matters, and Bernie let Warren and CNN craft the narrative. Sure, he denied it

Denying it is literally the opposite of letting them craft the narrative.

...which was then quickly dismissed by the moderator, rebuked by Warren, and then we all listened to a lecture on how women are actually electable...a further rebuke of sexist Sanders' alleged statements. To which Bernie offered no push back. Not a good look.
No, he flatly denied it. Denying it and providing examples of why it doesn't make sense is literally the opposite of what you're saying, it's the definition of pushing back, and after Warren said that he said that no one up there believes a woman couldn't be president and also reminded Warren that he beat an incumbent republican 30 years ago (correcting her on another statement she made).

So again, what are you talking about? What else was he supposed to do besides immediately deny it and provide examples of why it didn't make sense?

Even some in the MSM are defending him.

Don't be surprised if his poll numbers go up after this.

We have a social safety net (which I agree with), unfortunately it is overburdened by people taking advantage of the system.

Broken and wounded people?

Bro, if we were face to face and you said some shit like that, I would die laughing.

Do you actually know any lifelong criminals? Do you know “poor people”? These dudes aren’t broken and wounded, these motherfuckers like to sniff, they like to get fucked up, they steal shit.

The difference between you and I is,

A) I actually know these people

B) I am content letting them live with the consequences of their life decisions.

If you’re of able mind and body, get a fucking job.

You pathetic leftists don’t even walk the walk. You cry about corporations on your laptop at a Starbucks/dunking donuts etc. It’s honestly pathetic.

Just admit it, corporations are awesome. Our quality of life would be way less without them.
You must be quackers if you think I'm a leftist. I am a moderate centrist with a dash of Bernie

You dont know everyone in America that struggles man. You just dont. I work with an autistic man who is unable to hold a job and who has NO family. He gets a small check that is barely enough to rent a room in a shitty house where people are abusive to him......

I also know people who are not smart, who really are not, and who have abusive families. The best they can do is flip a burger at Mcdonalds or bag groceries as the grocery store. They are challenged by this work and go home proud after a full day or labor. These people should have UHC and a livable minimum wage as a basic human right.

Your type would cut off help to all those who do really need it in order to spite those who take advantage. I can understand that but don't respect it because of all the people who really do need it.

I side with Jesus on this issue.

I’m right next to your worthless, hippie commune of a state.

NY motherfucker.

Your whole state is a fall Sunday drive to us. Literally nothing more.

My mother has MS and worked 16 hour days taking care of the mentally ill in criminally understaffed situations for 30 years, you don’t need to tell me anything about struggles.

I am all for helping those folks. They are not of able mind and body. I’m fine helping them.

However, if your ass is dumb because you wasted your education, spent your life partying, and now you want a handout from me?

Everyone knows or has known criminals and/or people who game the system, that doesn't invalidate everyone who needs benefits. The interesting thing would be if you could provide a statistic that shows that social fraud is higher than any other business fraud, much less to a degree that "overburdens the system". The last I knew it wasn't.

Part of the job of a case worker who provides benefits like SNAP is to deny benefits to people who are lying or flag accounts of people who are suspicious so they are investigated.

The latter doesn't invalidate the former and a for profit healthcare system and weak safety nets only exacerbate situations like that.
