I'm not saying being superior in every relevant way makes them a shoe-in (as it would in a remotely perfect world). But it should at least make them dangerous.

Booker is not dangerous to Trump. Gillibrand is not dangerous to Trump. Inslee is not dangerous to Trump.

All three of them are much smarter, are much more articulate, and have much better and slightly more popular policies.

I don't think we yet live in a country where that doesn't pose a legitimate danger to an incumbent.

You're wrong. Trump would clobber all three of them. Fortunately for your tribe, none of them will win the nomination.

No, I'm pretty happy with the lineup so far.

Tulsi or Bernie. The others are shit. And will spill innocent blood around the world.

Would you really vote for someone JUST BECAUSE they happen to be female, or a minority?

I think stating it's an absolute fact that any candidate, let alone one as incompetent, unskilled, and unliked as Trump, beats a competent challenger is stupid.

Maybe. Want to bet on it?

Trump wins in 2020, 2 year AV bet.

No.

And that wouldn't make your statement non-stupid.
It wouldn't prove my statement was non-stupid, but it would be good Bayesian evidence of it.

If you think Cory Booker can beat Trump, you don't understand enough about how voters vote.

I'll take the bet if the outcome is a push in the event that the Democratic nominee is Klobuchar or Sanders. Again, I think those two are dangerous to Trump while the field is not. I'll type it up and tag you in the bet thread.

You from Minnesota by chance? I've seen you more than once respect Amy's chances when she's often overlooked by others.

She's one that I don't think will make enough noise in a primary to get the nomination, but has a very good chance once it's just her vs Trump and she has the dnc and super pac supports. Blowout possibility. Policies Dems can support, bipartisanship to grab some swing voters, and perhaps most importantly; won't rouse up Trump's base to get out an opposition vote against her as they did Hilary and would, imo, against Bernie or Beto or Liz Warren

Neither Bernie nor Klobuchar are winning the Democrat nomination.

I just don't see it happening.

I have a feeling it's either going to be Kamala Harris (Because she's black and a woman, which would be par for the course for the Left's Identity politics) OR Joe "I like to inappropriately touch little kids" Biden.

Exactly. She is the most dangerous candidate to Trump.

I agree that I don't see Klobuchar winning the nomination. Not sure about Sanders, he seems to have a better shot.

You could be right about Harris and identity politics. @Jack V Savage says the SJW wing's influence over the Democratic base is greatly exaggerated. I can see both sides of that argument. Not sure.

If you are right (and Jack is wrong), Harris will win the nomination and lose to Trump. I also agree that Biden has a very good shot at the nomination. I think his chances at beating Trump are better than most, but I still think Klobuchar is way more dangerous.

Lame. Sanders has to be top 2 or 3 for getting the nom.

I think the dismissal of Harris on the basis of her race is just right-wing identity politics. And it's somewhat unfortunate to me, but it looks like Biden will start as the clear frontrunner if he wants it.

Yeah, I'd say Biden by a lot (I'd still pick the field over him, though) followed by Warren, Bernie, and Harris. But note that I generally see this as unpredictable and we have very little relevant info at this time so that's worth almost nothing.
