Okay no blue wave but they still win the House which is what I DO NOT want to happen.

So I was voicing my apprehension at your post in regards to that.

Blue Wave or not....As far as the Democrats winning the House goes, it's not how they do it....it's that they do it.

Whether it's by 1 seat or 23 seats.


I'm rooting for the opposite to happen and for the Republicans to hold on. Our future depends on it.

Don't have any predictions, I haven't been following any of the races outside of a cursory glance. Would need to look at the data before predicting anything. I'm not even American but watching American politics is fascinating. In a can't look, can't look away kind of way.

Dems had 2 years to "work with Trump" and the only thing they did was Whine about his "TONE" (translation : He does not talk like a President should). THAT was their MAIN #1 concern.

Not the Country nor it's economic issues....


But Trump's TONE.

And they call him Racist, and any other name they can come up with.

And you believe Trump and them will find a way to work together after all that?

Dude, you're still not getting it.

Take +14 for example.

If the Democrats net +14, the Republicans keep the House. The +14 doesn't mean the final party difference. It means the breakdown relative to right now, which is 240 (R) -195 (D).*

So +14 D would give us a final balance of 226 (R)-209 (D), and the Republicans would keep the House.




*I'm ignoring vacancies for simplicity.

Wait what? The Dems had control the last two years? I must had missed something about Republicans controlling government the last two years, why would anything bipartisan come from Republicans or the POTUS.
