First off, I said I'd take Lowry over Lillard when that discussion came up a week or two ago, even though the stats (basic and 'advanced') pretty much point to a pick 'em. In fact, as I said then, my only hesitation was that you Crap fans shit on Lowry every time the team loses (and he's never performed well in the 'yoffs). Secondly, no one is comparing him to Lowry now. Thirdly, he's the best player on a playoff team in the West, so being an All-Star isn't out of the realm of reasonable.

Wasn't referring to you about the lizard, just this forum.

Perhaps if the west wasn't so guard heavy you could make that argument but frankly to me, you can't

Lizard got that lucrative rap career anyways he don't need ball lol

As much as I see the case for under selling Lillard... it's just not true.

The Blazers should suck... I mean there's seriously nothing on that team that qualifies as a "proven winner". And before Lillard showed up they did suck.

Ever since Lillard arrived they've been a playoff team, Aldridge left, didn't matter... they still make yoffs.

Look at that roster man... you have Lillard and McCollum and then... Aminu? Evan Turner? Nurkic?

Add a mix of cast offs and filler... Napier, Ed Davis, Harkless.

This is a fucking playoff team in the West? This is a team that's less than two games behind the Russ / PG13 / Adams, Thunder? (Yes I left Melo off, he sucks)

He's the best player on a perennial playoff team that has little in the way of help... if they didn't make yoffs I'd say "Ok, he's not an All Star."

But similar to Dipo out East... you carry a small market team with little help into playoff contention... you're getting an All Star nod.

The west really isn't that good bro, you making it English premier compared to bush league or something lol nuggets are in 8th , clippers or jazz might make yoffs, even the Lakers are within striking distance. The bottom is shit tier and low n behold Portland is in that mix. Let's make some nuggets all stars

The west really isn't that good bro

LMAO. Vintage blowslow analysis.

Average wins for playoff teams per conference

2017

West: 52
LEast: 46 (LMAO)

2016

West: 52
LEast: 49 (LMAO)

2015

West: 54
LEast: 48 (LMAO)

2014

West: 55
LEast: 46 (LLMAO)

----

If the West "really isn't that good" then what is the LEast, blowslow? LMAO.

Stick to what you know Blowslow, oh wait that's nothing ROFL.

All my references were from this year but you bring out the history books? Talking about this year goof, like the all star game this year too lol

Not surprising from a laker fan to live in the past lmao

Two things Beri.

1. My comment on Lillard was saying how he has consistently made playoffs in a superior West conference. So past performance does indeed matter.

2. 2017-18 Season
Win Pct of West Coast Playoff Teams: .621
Win Pct of East Coast Playoff Teams: .590

Oh, one more thing...

Shut the fuck up.

Oh, it's a performance based award? Someone wake up Bill Russell and dig up Red.

jokic could easily be named an AS based on stats, granted he missed some games

unless by 'nuggets' you meant every player besides him...

Best player on the best team in the league for 4 years running.

The way you CANadians trumpet the likes of Kyle LoLry and Derp Derozan I can only imagine the Miley Cyrus level ball swinging you'd do if Curry was on the Craps.
If you're the best player on the best team then you shine on the biggest stage. How many of FMVPs from three tries has Steffi won again? Two? At least one, right?

I wasn't ONLY talking about Lillard being an All Star selection this year... (which he has a valid case for)

I was talking about how trashing Lillard as a player in general flies in the face of his results. He's made yoffs every year he's been in the league and when Aldridge left and the team seemed to be lottery bound, they still made yoffs.

Swap Lowry and Lillard and maybe the Raps aren't quite as good (maybe) ... but the Blazers would be drafting in the top 8 of the lottery this year. Especially with Lowry's propensity to pout and get hurt when things aren't going his way.

PG13 is better than Lillard and FAR better than Trayvon. OKC has wiped the floor with the best teams in the NBA for the most part. Gronk was 100% correct in his analysis.

I'll maintain forever that Steph should have easily won the MVP that first year (2014/15)... the fact that iggy won on some Lebron centric (omg he stopped Lebron... did he really tho?)

Steph 26pts / 5.2rebs / 6.3asts / 1.8stls on good percentages

vs

Iggy shooting WIDE OPEN 3s (thanks Curry) and 35% from the free throw line (on 28 fucking attempts) for 16pts / 5.8rebs / 4asts

Anyone arguing against this is a hater or fully bought in to the Lebron centric narrative. Iggy played better than expected, Steph played better (as expected)

In 2015/16 the Cavs won on a gift suspension from the League. Curry was playing injured, had a serviceable series but had the Warriors won, I'd give Draymond that MVP.

In 2016/17 Steph had a phenomenal series 27pts 8rebs 9.5asts 2.2stls... Durant just went and had a historic one with 35 / 8 / 5 / 1 / 1 on insane percentages. The best duo finals performance since Shaq/Kobe.

LMAO. I wasn't asking for Lumi analysis. I was asking how many FMVPs Steffi won. Looks like the answer's zero. Case closed

So easily that it didn't happen but the media is losing its mind since "it's a yoff team in the West!!!" Like nuggets would be some force in the east lol

lol dumbass.

I said best player on the best team for the past 4 seasons... and you somehow attempted to quantify that with Finals MVPs

When Tony Parker won FMVP in 2007 was Tim Duncan not the best player on the Spurs?

Joe Dumars was better than Isiah Thomas too right?

LeRoid drafted to win while Corey drafted AAU buddies.

lol... it looks like Lebron drafted first... and it wasn't a snake draft. Ouch.

Steph taking Demar before freak. Newfound respect for him
