Isn't everything on wall street and financial markets speculation, guessing trends, etc? So I would say its taxing trades and swaps and derivitives and all that stuff (though I'm not sure). This is what I've always made of it.

Nah, hedge funds generally will be overwhelmingly speculation about which way interest rates, credit, or equity / commodity prices will move.

Wall Street Investment Banks are more diversified. They now do a lot less speculation but instead help clients execute trades, provide loans to corporations, underwrite bonds for government and corporations, underwrite equities, help corporate clients manage their balance sheets, advice for merging with other companies, provide research for clients as to what to buy etc and do less trading for the firms own account.

Yeah man, its like nothing gets invented in Europe and theres no doctors there either.

Believe me, debt is a much bigger detractor of educating and improving yourself than the fact that you will only take home 100k instead of 110k annually.

Don't recall Huntsman getting anything close to 2nd in any primary.

He pulled 17% in Nh after staking his whole campaign there and leaving self very little money and having tracked so far to the middle that hes no longer viable.
