I'm not a registered voter, and I have no dog in this fight, but this was too crazy to not post.

This is apparently what passes for journalistic integrity these days.... and people actually get their news here? Pretty sad, IMO.

I thought that had to be a shoop.

I'd be shocked if Bush wins anything.

If there is no hope for Rubio then it is either Cruz or Trump. Could Kasich win the primaries? Heck could cruz?

Yeah right. Rubio will be lucky to win again.

His original plan was 3-2-1.

3rd in Iowa
2nd in NH
1st in SC

Doubt this plan is going to work out for him. Christie did more favors for Kasich, by taking out Rubio, than any donation to Kasich's campaign.

I already saw a young, grassroots movement back in 2008 and 2012, and Ron Paul went nowhere. I really hope Sanders knocks off Clinton. Unlike her, I actually think he's a man of principle and I really like some of his stances (greater regulation on Wall Street, for example). But young people are notoriously flaky when it comes to voting. Even if they somehow vote him as the Democratic candidate, they won't come out in droves to support him come general election time.

I've been jaded since 2003, when there were no weapons of mass destruction. So I know how it feels. Experience has told me not to get my hopes up about any particular candidate, especially if he/she is reliant on the youth vote.

I really don't think that Paul and Sanders are even remotely similar at this point. Paul didn't really represent any ideology beyond some broad anti-establishment message that didn't have the policy to substantiate it. And, accordingly, he never even achieved a fraction of the support, be it in the way of donations or, now, primary votes, as Sanders has. Ron Paul ended with 10% of the primary vote and 0 states won. Sanders is already a lock to far surpass that.

At the outset of the primary season several months ago, I predicted Rubio to win, but said that Cruz would be a strong contender and would be the scariest potential POTUS.

At this point, especially after Rubio's gaffe last week, I just don't know anymore. Kasich would be nice and would perform well in a general.

I thought Christie would have done much better today.
I was keeping it to myself, but I thought he might be the dark horse #2 tonight.

According to CNN...

Trump - 35% (winner)
Kasich - 16%
Cruz - 12%

With 12% of precincts reporting.

And Fiorina has 4%
Carson has 2%

Which is interesting, Fiorina wasn't at the debate, but has near doubke the votes of someone that was.

Well, Carson was there in a "lights are on but nobody's home" kind of way.

Bush too. Kasich has to turn this into money to keep going. Bush is gonna take 3rd and have $$ to go forward.

Alex Jones must be losing his shit!

Well it is nice to see that the hardcore CT are at least consistent. Alex Jones, and all the other CT websites are starting to move against Bernie Sanders and attack some of his fan base for hypocrisy.

Ron Paul was the only true HOPE! So they claim

Too early to tell. They have Cruz at 12% with 16% reporting, so far.

We'll see how this plays out.

I still have my doubts Sanders can win a more diverse state.

Maybe that is his goal outspend people?

Didn't he win 1 state by popular? And a few others by delegates?

I thought Ron Paul represented the failed Austrian school of economics, and Laissez faire. But yes Sanders is a much better candidate.

I would be really shocked if Cruz was the nominee. Trump I can understand he is not far right and anti-Government to the extent that Cruz is. All Trump, really needs is a 'moderate' makeover while still appealing to his core base with his immigration among foreign policy stances.

Cruz on the other hand well... yeah he is so leaning and ideological its hard.
