New 3B error leads to 4 unearned runs. Traded away our 25 year old 3B that will get gold glove votes (Arenardo will win the award every year)

Pay top prospect for a reliever having a bad year, automatically throw him into a tie game in the 8th inning. Gives up 2 runs to lose the game. He is now a negative WAR player for the season

BTW you guys are way off base on Joey Bats. His value is lower because of his struggles at the plate. His age/contract status don't really matter if he was putting up his typical numbers. Carlos Beltran is a 39 year old rental and he got a decent haul from the Rangers FFS, and his defense is almost Joey's levels

Blew a 4 run lead. Price had gone 15 straight innings without giving up a run going into the 8th, he then allowed a leadoff HR to fucken Mike Zunino and then 3 more hits in a row and then the new guy Abad gives up a 3 run bomb to Cano.

This was a sure win that was lost, that Canley game was one that could have gone either way regardless of the error.

His value is low because of both. Being a dh in most teams eyes limits his market, being shit on the field kills any value

It's not like turning 35 or 36 is a death sentence for your career, see, Ortiz, Zobrist, Cruz, Beltran, etc. All have guys have continued being great hitters late into their career.

Beltran is 39 and having a great year, every player is different. Thinking Jose is just going to roll over and not start producing at levels we all know he can these next couple months is just wishful thinking by you.

If need be, I'm sure he'll up the PED dosage.
