Bring back Rick Santorum.
The fact that Santorum won in 2012, should let the rest of the country now how irrevelant Iowa is in the election. How they got awarded their plush spot is beyond me.

Clinton 52.0%
Sanders 47.4%
O'Malley 0.5%

It wasn;'t awarded. They scheduled it so early because of their caucus process taking so long. They pretty much got this prized position but dumb luck.

Clinton 51.5%
Sanders 48.0%
O'Malley 0.5%

Sanders is catching up from what I been seeing

Well when they showed it at 1%, it was 41% Bernie but that was like less than 1000 votes. Now we are seeing multiple counties at once.

Sanders hanging close... is that a moral victory for him?

681 of 1683 Precincts have reported.

Some gallows humour from fivethirtyeight:

Jeb Bush is currently projected to win about 2,600 votes in Iowa, or about 2 percent of the overall turnout. That would work out to one vote per $25,000 in spending by Bush’s super PAC, Right to Rise, which has spent a total of $64.8 million so far. (Granted, not all of that money has been spent in Iowa.)

Citizens United was overhyped from what this election is showing. Super PACs have been not as effective as people worried they would.

it must be so grim over at Jeb headquarters. The whole Bush clan begging the few remaining donors to stay positive and promising a turnaround any moment now...

Bush and Christie should jump out of the race money wise but they will likely stay til NH and continue to split the vote.

Cruz lead seems to be widening slightly, but at only 19% there is still plenty of room left for a Trump turn around.

Looking at the map of Iowa a lot of Counties where Bernie is doing well still have many precincts to declare. This could get really close.

It will trend late for Bernie. Photo finish. The trump train is going to go off the rails. Lack of ground game.
