Five left. Very little data with Nevada like the Democratic Caucus earlier this week. This is the last state before Super Tuesday.

I think it is going to be Trump, and I think if he wins here, the nomination is basically over.

Agreed. I think Trump would be less surprising if there was a legit candidate to run against. Cruz? Rubio?

Trump should win. I read one article saying the only chance to really stop him is if Cruz can do well on Super Tuesday.

Trump he is on fire it seems. I am curious how he will do with the large Latino voting block in NV though. Although it is a less diverse Latino group than say Florida, Texas, or California. So anti-Mexican sentiments can carry more weight.

I would of pegged NV as a state for Rubio to win but who knows.

You'd be surprised how many Latinos despise illegal immigrants.

Trump.

I think Cruzsdadgate is going to hurt Cruz and it's going to be irreparable. If a guy like Ben Carson ran some shady ads that fabricated quotes, people would be willing to write it off as the fault of Carson's people because they believe the doctor is such a good guy. He couldn't possibly have anything to do with it himself, he's too nice.

With Cruz, most people believe he's shady and weasely. He can't afford any controversy that confirms that suspicion. And now we have a second instance of his ads filled with fallacious quotes meant to smear somebody. This confirms the biases against him people already had, and they're not going to give him the benefit of the doubt like they would Carson. They're going to say, "That Cruz...I knew that guy was a snake! I don't believe for one second that he didn't know what was going into those ads and that they were bogus."

Trump just needs to call Ted Cruz out on being insecure about his height. And boom Trump ends Cruz's campaign. Ted is pegged as 5'8 by everyone and is shorter than "5'10 rubio".

Yet Ted has started looking taller and taller. What can it be? Can't just be cowboy boots that wouldn't make him 4 inches taller.

Not much data but picked Trump too. Would like to see an upset but Nevada never really has mattered much. This actually may be the most attention Nevada's gotten in a long time because the race usually is somewhat decided by now or down to two candidates.

Oh I know. But my point is that Trump's comments have been mostly 'anti-Mexican'. Even many legal Mexicans unless they are GOP voters are going to write Trump off for his comments unless he does some major repair. In NV it's largely Mexicans which I believe hurts him. It isn't like Florida, TX or NY.

I think Trump and Rubio bury Cruz in the next debate. Trump is the alpha of the group but Rubios appeal isn't in being an alpha but in being 'moderate, sensible and 'smart'. Trump's appeal is in being anti establishment, alpha, and a deal maker. Cruz losses the alpha war against Trump.

Trump will win, I just hope Rubio makes it close. And considering how I'll probably vote for him tomorrow, I hope Kasich surprises and gets some momentum.

Caucus starts around 5pm est. unsure why democratic one was at 2pm in comparison but it was a weekend

Ralston has seen internals and said Trump should win big. But it's a caucus, so who knows - grown game matters and establishment desperation is kicking in for Rubio so that might get more votes out as well.

Rubio NEEDS second if Trump is winning. He needs to show some positive momentum from SC heading into Super Tuesday.

Very high turnout from initial reports

Megyn Kelly just reported 39% of "late deciders" broke for Rubio.

This has been a pattern with all the other states. The people who decide close to the actual day go to Rubio. CNN was saying most people weren't late deciders though so that number might not be high in proportion to the rest of the voters.

Wow...Fox saying Trump got 41% of Hispanic vote. The Trump appeal is crossing a lot of demographic lines.
