They should call Illinois

Rahm Emanuel was a great major and is a great mayor screw you Bernie! And Billionaires don't run our economy what a loopy and stupid thing to say!
I remember when trolling was an art form, not a gimmick. When birds sang songs with cats and mod hookers roamed the plains of the heavies banning and unbanning at will. It felt safer.

Now we have you...

Polls show Bernie down 20 points in Michigan: wins by 3 points. Bernie Supporters: We told you he could do it, polls don't matter!

Polls show Hillary up 11 points in Ohio. Wins by 15. Bernie Supporters: The polls say that is whack! Obviously corruption!!

All sounds like conspiracy non-sense. People who study economics and actually use their brains to understand the economy realize that our economy is not "controlled" or rigged by billionaires. A lot of the inequality we have is because of fiscal policy, and lack of a higher minimum wage along with exportation of some quality of jobs.

To have this belief that the people who run the Federal Reserve are somehow in cahoots with billionaires is absurd. We have checks and balances and their is literally no evidence to suggest such a thing.

But.... but.... GOLD!

I can appreciate any platform that tries to restore balance in the system and I think Bernie believes he is doing that with the wealthy and corporate interests. Obviously I don't think it's as unbalanced as he see's it and find his shift would give the government far too much power. I like a candidate who seeks the balance and wants to keep everything competing. I do appreciate his stance on the consolidation of banks.

Never really understood Paul's deal though. He was a very very specific kinda guy. Every debate they would just ask him an ideological question and then leave him alone for 20 minutes.

say what? have you seen some of the post in here, Trump that hawking SOB saying he would like to try and negotiate a peace with Israel and Palestinian, doesn't want to be involved in Syria, Libya ect.. I know its the usual talking points to bash GOP on FP some of these democrats in here are so robotic with this its crazy.

But...but...Trump SUPPORTED the War in Iraq. That's why you need to vote for Clinton who actually VOTED for the the War in Iraq

I can't just imagine Cruz at home tonight. He's brushing his teeth, looking in the mirror. "Great speech tonight Ted." He says to himself. "Thanks Ted." He says back to himself.

The second voice isn't Ted, it's Teddy.

WTF?

Trump is exponentially more hawkish (it's warhawk, not chickenhawk, btw). He's the one that wants to "bomb the shit out of ISIS" and take their oil. First, that's extremely dangerous because that's exactly the reason why Islamic extremists target the west. They say it very clearly: "You bomb our cities, you kill our children. So we're going to kill you"

So what's Drumpf's genius plan? Bomb them even more! "Go after their families"

He's an absolute maniac and dangerous to the general population.
yes, and hilldog was claiming castro bros were dictators and needed democracy....

He says that he's a great negotiator, etc, but he'll follow it up immediately with outrageous stuff like targetted murder of the families of suspected terrorists, and carpet bombing stuff. He's also big into rattling sabers over Iran. So like I said, he's volatile. He's the kind of guy who could easily let his ego get us into a war. Whereas the rest of them will get us into war for (still bad but) strategic reasons.

Dang, this gets brought up a lot for AUR. Did Jack start this or do people just remember him being vocal about Paul four years ago.

Anung started it. It's a true statement. He supported the candidate of top-down class warfare in 2012 and the candidate most dedicated to fighting against that this time. Policy and its effects on real people's lives don't matter to the guy at all. It's all about the candidate with the "coolest" image. He appears to be a sociopath.

It is really funny how Bernsters are all bitching and whining about fake numbers. Really goes to show the emotional maturity of his supporters.

He's been a business man for how long ? i think his tough talk is for show for the hawks out there and what not. Let's say Putin decides he doesn't like Trump and calls him a idiot you think hes going to say well eff you , we are going to war with Russia? don't tell me you buy into that. Also you are giving him too much power on what he can do as president, he says idiotic things but that won't go into a war lol

Have you not been paying attention to the way the party has been screwing over bernie since he turned into a legitimate contender?

It has nothing to do with the emotional maturity of his supporters, it has to do with the same shit happening time and time again.

The Bernie campaign was a weird event on here. I feel like I would be discussing a completely different topic and somehow be pulled into a Bernie v. antiBernie talk I never was having to begin with. Was really odd at times

Genuine curiosity: What have they done do screw him over?

I called this from the start, Hillary has too much power on her side to lose to Sanders, it would take a Godly level of fuckery to beat her. Bernie can't win the big states because minorities and the establishment sheep are very much on her side.

Clinton is winning because of the South...

I know it's been a four year cycle so the youth could be completely different but I do find it interesting Ron was the college pick in 2012 and Bernie in 2016. I believe Dean was 2008. I remember at my college the Ron crowd during the election. It would be weird to return to my college and see a Bernie crowd now.

Or maybe he's a fringe candidate that the majority don't support as much as you and your friends. Just a thought.

Yeah like Trade. I mention something about Trade (completely unrelated to the candidates running) and people go on about how 99% of the world economist are wrong and that ONLY Bernie understands Trade.
