Unfortunately, you don't live on an island, and what you have in life wasn't created by you alone. You live in a society which has a set of laws and regulations that you've benefited by, even if it is intangible ones someons like you couldn't grasp.

You've benefited from the system, and you're required to pay back into it.

OR you could do that live on a ship in the middle of sea thing and read Atlas Shrugged all day. Hear that's a thing.

I didnt say no taxes, i said reduce taxes. I still pay into infrastructure, ems, property taxes pay for education, sanitation, etc. A percentage of my taxes. 20% - 1/5th of my earned income should be a high enough cover charge for my SSN. Maybe 25 if you can convince me it will work better on infrastructure and sciences; however, 30%+ on income, taxes on capital gains, or what people want to leave me? You may see that as fair deal, i see as state supported extortion.Thats why we both are free to vote for whomever we see fit.

Welfare makes up the dominate percentage of Federal Allotment, I don't use welfare, i shouldn't have to pay for it, or as much into it. If people want to support the have nots, it should come out of their pockets, altruistically and not by government force.

The part selfish people like you don't understand is there is a tipping point. All throughout history we see horrors when wealth inequality gets too great. It's in your own interest to make sure the have nots have. For economic growth of the country, and to prevent political unrest. Then you become a have not.

Good for you, feel free to open up your own bank account and home to any poor soul you'd like. Id wager your tax share will be reduced, so you'll have extra funds to use as you see fit.

Let me guess, you count yourself as christian also?

Fuck the state of the republican party is just terrible.

You see the tipping point as a Mad Max like future - i see it as one where the have nots figure out their own situation without dependency of the state or die off

I guess we'll see what comes to fruition.

I'll be sure to remind you to post that again when she wins the presidency over the Republicans and appoints a more liberal scotus.

i dont care if she wins, still better than Bernie. I want an R house but will settle for anyone but sanders.

And i welcome a more liberal SCOTUS - i am a big supporter of gays and abortion - both helps alleviates the poor from existing

politico has Hilary up in Missouri

lmao this brought the lols.

I could totally picture her playing this shit when she wins the primary.
Just like she played that little "This is my fight song!" song when she squeaked iowa

No, not Mad Max, it wouldn't be that entertaining.

History is replete with examples. They don't just die off like good proles... they become miserable and rebel, then usually institute a new system of governance which is worse.

sure.

Very few Bernie fans will come over to Trump. The only thing they have in common is they're both outsiders.

They're polar opposites, especially when it comes to honesty.

I wont go to Trump, but I also wont vote in the general.

After I vote for the Bern in PA, I intend to change my party to Independent.

I refuse to give such a corrupt party my statistic of being a registered Dem.

So just a shithead when it comes to economic equality then?

Ah, so you have to resort to juvenile name calling when someone simply wants to keep more of what he earns and prefers to allot his taxes to programs / area he sees fit.

Would you not to like to have more of your money in your control?

Ahh, the invincibility of imbecility. I knew it well as a preteen.

Not a good look as an adult, though.

Sure, you can view it anyway you want.

I see it as a person who values self accountability for his own livelihood and not dependency on the state. Someone not at all bitter that there is people who make 100000x more than me or empathetic to who make 10x less, but does feel just because you reach levels of monetary success, that shouldnt come with a higher percentage of tax for every rung you can climb.

But im sure the view from your high horse is great!!

"You cannot help people permanently by doing for them, what they could and should do for themselves"

So how much are you worth? Do you have a regular job, or are you living off interest from your investments and whatnot?

Fantasy. You're an American, you're dependent on the state for your quality of life. We all are. You wouldn't live the same in many other places, because you're a product of your environment. You didn't go it alone.

It's more than envy and compassion, it's about the overall economic effects that we'll all have to deal with, but you don't understand. Completely uncontroversial in the civilized world, except with right-wing American Luddites.

But im sure the view from your high horse is great!!
It's not very high, you're just very low.
