Twitter already showing part of Don Jr.'s speech matches an article written a few months ago.

I shouldn't have said loaded, that was dumb hyperbole on my part. Still, most households aren't pulling early 6 figures, and again you have to factor in all the shit Republicans will break either through incompetence or sheer malice. Even if I made enough to be totally insulated from conservative policy I still wouldn't want to inflict it on the rest of the country.

You have a more we than me mantra than I do -- I feel everyone should vote for their best primary interest (unfortunately, politics works more like Chinese take out menu and not like an a le carte) and if the majority of people do that, the results end up with policies that the majority wanted -- and I just have to accept it or move.

But the beauty and burden of the democratic process - everyone gets to vote however they want.

I've seen the conventions since 2004 and this one is the weirdest. They seem to trying their hardest to unite because of Hillary than trump. Its a weird show. They are more worked up about Hillary than Trump.

It is most definitely the "anyone but the other guy" election

That's definitely not what you want for a federal election

Great speech by Don Junior (fearing I wake up tomorrow to find out it was plagiarized with reference to Chocolate Rain).

I thought that could have won The Don's the Presidency already.

But then the thing flew off the rails:

Carson is the best example of someone who is brilliant in one way, but completely fucking retarded in other.

Then the actress/farmer barking to an emptying arena.

Then finally, the head of the Muslims for Trump leading some prayer? That guy seemed as legit a muslim leading as legit a prayer as Nikolai Volkov singing the Soviet national anthem.

Total moment squandered. Shorten the stuff up, drop some fluff, and have Don Jr as final speaker would have been GREATLY more powerful.

That guy seemed as legit a muslim leading as legit a prayer as Nikolai Volkov singing the Soviet national anthem.

LOL

Well, he had a very thick South Asian accent. He could have been a Pakistani Muslim, but he just as easily could have been a Hindu doing a false flag prayer operation.

I don't always agree with what he says but I really like hearing Van's commentary on things. Smart guy and very well spoken.
van is my favorite commentator. I agree with him the most and I think he is very well spoken and treats people who say awful shit with them without sinking to their level. Him and SE Cupp are my 2 favorites on cnn. van looks crazy young for his age.

this muslim guy only has like 400 people in his organization lol. not bad publicity for a nothing organization.

I expected a little bit of fear mongering but damn... Rudy was legitimately scary.

Such a great childhood memory.

“Lest we forget at least an over the shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical: from all our legends, mythology and history (and who is to know where mythology leaves off and history begins - or which is which), the very first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom - Lucifer.”
