I'm saying being CAUGHT lying in any environment makes you look bad. We're not children. It's like peds in sports. We know most guys are using. Getting caught is still a huge career blemish.


We know politicians lie, spin, and deflect for a living. Being caught red handed lying is a bad look though. That's literally always been the case.

idk. I think I'm at my fullest level of cynicism when it comes to politics. I can't be outraged by this because I feel like this is information that I already knew.

I don't disagree, but I'm still team apathetic.

you can have a flippant attitude towards it and thats fine; but, the sheer lackadaisical nature of it is just mind boggling. There is a myriad of ways the speech writer could've formatted that same message without being so vacuous -- but, no -- he literally almost went word for word. Its not a campaign ending deal, but just a ridiculously softball talking point to give to the left.

Surprisingly, CNN keeping it pretty real saying in this type of situation you fire an intern and keep it moving. Trying to deflect will only make it a bigger issue.

Dr. Ben Carson will talk about a dream, Gov. Scott Walker will ask what you can do for your country, Sen. Marco Rubio will invoke a time for choosing, Sen. Ted Cruz will come before us as a man whose honesty and -- and integrity has been questioned. And it all culminates with Trump telling us that all men are created equal.
