I want a disastrous Trump speech, but I'm actually expecting him to knock it out of the park. Even if it happens to be a shitty park with colored seating and overpriced beer.
 

I could post a hundred tweets easily of progressives pissed off that a gay man (Thiel) has the audacity to have his own agency and not agree with their sociopolitical narrative.

The two aren't mutually exclusive. You don't think people should have the right to come out when he/she is comfortable, and also be proud without rubbing it in everyone's faces?

My standards are pretty low. I guess it's because the media is eviscerating his speech after it leaked, but I should reserve judgment because most of them would hate it even if it fit their worldview. They hate the man so much it clouds their judgment.

I hope it's better than his usual bloviation, though.

His speech after winning the primary was delivered very well and I expect the same here, but yeah I don't expect the actual content to be any good. Haven't read the leaked speech but nothing he says looks good in writing.
