Cruz was booed off the stage after declining to endorse Trump during his speech and instead telling the audience to "vote your conscience" in November

Who has a more punchable face, Junior or Ted Cruz?

Cruz, but I would definitely knee Jr in the face.

BTW, this is pretty hysterical. I wonder if Ted went off the rails and decided to stick it to Trump. I'm sure he's positioning himself for a 2020 run with the hopes that Trump tanks this election.

This pic wasn’t during Cruz's speech. Trump walked in at the end and didn't even reach that spot until Cruz was gone

yeah, saw this pic on Reddit this morning and the second top comment said this.

I think the most hilarious thing about this is the hit-you-over-the-head, ridiculously transparent hypocrisy and flip-flopping within the GOP as circumstances change.

Two months ago, Republicans were dropping out of the race and encouraging voters to vote Cruz, because he was a ‘real Republican’ and he was the only one who could stop the horrible, horrible nightmare of a Trump candidacy.

Now, Republicans are all angry at Cruz and saying he’s ‘not a real Republican’ because he didn’t provide enough support for the wonderful, wonderful savior, Donald Trump.

The party is in its death throes. Even W said he's scared he'll be the last Republican President.

What i find fascinating, is that no matter what mistakes the trump campaign makes, his drones always try to spin it as a positive.

You will rarely find a politician who tries to spin himself negative.

How would you rate the days for Trump so far? I have it

The party is still fractured. Everyone already knows this. Problem is, trump really doesn't have a way of making it seem unified. If he doesn't have Cruz speak, it doesn't look good. If they have Cruz speak, knowing he isn't going to flat out endorse him, it looks bad too. I guess they saw the second option as the lesser bad of the two, especially since the crowd was against him.

Cruz was by far the funniest part of the convention to date. Narrowly edging coked out Guiliani.

This had to be a spiteful move to try and sink trump regardless of what it does to his political career right? It was personal right? There's no way he thought this was the best way to position himself for 2020.

I thought Eric Trump's speech yesterday was by far the best of the RNC. Not that I agreed or necessarily believed him, but that was the speech I thought was best. His kids seem like pretty competent people.

This happens every primary on both sides. Are Bernie supporters wrong if they decide to support Clinton after the fact?

Also, I don't think Cruzs support is all against him for this. You have to understand the New York delegates were right in front of the stage and could be heard the most. Texas was in the very back (some of them did boo). The party is still divided and there is a significant portion of GOP voters from Cruz Rubio Bush and kasichs camp that will not come around to supporting trump.

There always is going to be the group that disagrees during the primary but then consolidates after the fact. There are also those who still refuse. Both groups exist right now and there's more complexity going on than gauging a crowds boos

Did Dana White give Cruz performance of the night?

Cruz came off as a petty sore loser, and probably just committed career suicide. There is a reason Trump allowed him to speak. He just gave Cruz enough rope to hang himself.

From everything I understand today, party loyalty is more important than standing up for your own personal feelings.

Everyone who's wife and father wasn't insulted wants Cruz to pledge loyalty to Trump.
