The reactions to the speech are just mind boggling. People are accusing Trump of stoking fear. All the people running around calling this dark and scary are the whole stoking fear. Get a grip people.
 
Thought it was a pretty good speech. I'm more excited for the debates, Hillary will be CRUCIFIED.

It's pretty disgusting how biased the media is in its reporting. I was watching on PBS and let's just say none of the people "analyzing" the Convention voted in a republican primary.
 
Not the Trump I was expecting or wanted. He made his bones on being outrageous. Now he is being more "proper"? lmao what a fake. He should have said the shit that got him here, not some PG version. SAD.

people who can't see how that speech was fear mongering and offensive to hispanics, blacks, and muslims... well I don't even know what to tell you guys, and even if I did, its not like it would matter.

Van Jones once again said exactly what I was thinking. I came into tonight open minded, I really did. I was on a high from Theil and Ivanka. And then Trump reminded me he's trump and untenable.
 
Good lord, that Latino female commentator on CNN is pissed because Trump did not include positive stories about ILLEGAL immigrants.

You're seeing what you want to. How in the world you saw anything offensive to black people in there, for example, is beyond me. All he said about them was that they have been screwed and as a result are in poor economic shape as a group. That's an acknowledgement of fact.

I'm definitely open to discussion, and I'm not a ridiculous Trump fanboy. Mind laying out some specific language in the speech you found untenable?

She was Jeb's numbah one shill on CNN, and she went down with the ship.

When she says anything about Trump its code for "I want you to apologize to JEB and restore the good bush name!"

For me Ivankas speech surprised me more. If you closed your eyes you would say she was democrat. I like her honesty of not being a republican or democrat. She's just a rich chick who has been thrown to politics because of her dad
