One of the few things I like about Trump is that he may have destroyed Ted Cruz' career.

no, silly

Nice try. That's Mr. Rogers.

I follow politics quite intently and Ted Cruz impresses me most across the west. I would imagine him to be quite good for the taxpayer and terrific for investment especially in urban areas where the US suffer the most.

Cruz is a fuckin moron. His platform isnt based on business friendliness at all. Its just stupid religious shit.

I appreciate the sentiment. Most of Europe's elected leaders right now aren't exactly superstars either though. Unfortunately, bad government seems to be going around like now like the flu. Best of luck to you and your people as we all try to weather this storm.

Bad government of elected officials are a product of a stupid electorate.

I am a lifelong Tory and despite our conservatives dominating the shit out of labour in my days (thankfully) I've only been pleased with one leader and that's Mrs Thatcher.

You should be witnessing Ted Cruz take Bernie to the cleaners but you have this shit show instead. I hope you get the least damning result tonight. That will be all, good luck America.

Yes but no...

Definitely an uninformed electorate. Here's the thing: I think most Americans are actually pretty smart people. Maybe that's just being overly optimistic, but I think this is true. I just think that a lot of them are choosing to apply their brainpower to other things. Some are good, such as mastering their professional tasks, developing interesting technology that makes our lives better, and learning about medicine/science/meaningful stuff that isn't connected to politics. Others are less noble, such as memorizing sports stats, pop culture, and soaking up the storylines to some show on ABC. I think Americans just lack the right stimuli to develop a deeper understanding of politics.

That is surprising... I guess you guy's like your taxes and your red tape.

One of the funniest parts of the primary was when Ted's college roommate came out and told people how much he hated him lmao.

Some quotes
"Ted Cruz is a nightmare of a human being. I have plenty of problems with his politics, but truthfully, his personality is so awful that 99 percent of why I hate him is just his personality. If he agreed with me on every issue, I would hate him only 1 percent less."

"As a freshman, I would get into senior parties because I was Ted's roommate. OUT OF PITY. He was that widely loathed."

"One thing Ted Cruz is really good at: uniting people who otherwise disagree about everything else in a total hatred of Ted Cruz."

"I would rather have anybody else be the president of the United States. Anyone. I would rather pick somebody from the phone book."

I used to have that optimism but I've changed my tune. I've traveled to many states, worked with the public, worked blue collar jobs, and been working in a white collar corporate atmosphere. But still all over people are just plain stupid and terrible.

Human beings are nasty animals, still only able to operate out of sense and emotion instead of logic and reason. Regardless of political affiliation I really do deep down have a fine disgust for the human races as a whole.
