2016-2017 NBA THREAD V11: Ainge is a terrible GM

Love only started 5 games in 2016 and played 26 mpg (Rich Jeffercan actually played more mins lmfao). Thompshit started all 7 games playing over 32 mpg. Kristen was Gaymando's primary matchup and he roasted Grene for 10/10 on 64% shaating. That after dropping 10/13 on 50% shaating vs Gren in 2015

Small sample size.

So Joe Embuust is out for the season w/ torn meniscus? Is it me or did they take like a month do diagnose this latest shit

DeKobe since all star break....

37.7 PPG
6.3 RPG
3.0 APG
65 TS%
90 FT%

@HunterSdVa29 must be loving it.

Going to be a tough one in Washington without Lowry tonight.

Was on Family side in the morning for the parade. Lol @ CANs thinking ill be there the whole time.
@ RR knows i dont play that kid stuff. It was a blast on bourban, won some cash at harrahs and ended with more debauchery.

I can vouch for this and nice

Sucks for the Faps there aren't any cuck teams to collude with by buying out still-productive former allstars or trading still-productive former allstars for jack/shit

How the hell does LeBraun/LeFraud land all these players?! Apparently the salary cap doesn't apply to the Cavs.

they're over, but willing to pay the luxury tax I guess

Also, they should be getting Vet exceptions for Williams and Bogut, not like bird rights apply or anything

I'm not a huge fan of continually getting exceptions though, should be a limit on how many exceptions you can apply once you're over the Cap already

at least IMO

I just question all these teams being so willing to cooperate with LeBum

Bogus, Dercan, Korver all added during the season for literally nothing

Like what the hell do these teams gain by buying out a player after the ASB? Could Dallas not have received like a late 1st or 2nd from Toronto or something for Dercan? Could Philly not have received a late 1st round pick from Houston or some other yoff team for Bogus?

LeBum doesn't actually fleece anyone tho

These aren't transactions he's completing with other teams

You just implied they're in collusion with him. I don't disagree with that. Those teams knew where the players were headed.

Only rationale I can think of from these teams is "oh we're tanking"

Well wtf aren't teams prohibited from deliberately tanking? And even if you're tanking wouldn't you at least want a 2nd round pick? These players are still valuable players on yoff teams -- Dercan instantly becomes the best backup PG in the NBA and Bogus is still an elite rim protector. It's weird the league sees zero issue with this unprecedented level of buyouts this season

Spuds still start Tony Parker at PG and have one of the weakest backcourts in the entire NBA let alone among yoff teams. No interest from them in Dercan? Boston's starting center is softer than Palp's dirty old cawk. No interest in one of the game's best interior defenders? Not for a 2nd rounder even? lmao sounds legit

ABSOLUTELY

The point is that it's illegal and the league is turning a blind eye if not directly facilitating. Not hard to be a Dunny-tier fleecer when you've been given the keys to the league castle
