It's been 2 years so it doesn't matter anymore according to @The One TrueThat's sad to hear about mitch''s daughter
Yeah he did a terrible jobs in getting Koobs a big man to lead him to back to back chips
he was part of a front office that ran the organization terribly, so he was let go.
Mitch Kupchak has been a member of the Lakes family for well over three decades, both as a player and GM. In this time he contributed to 10 NBA championships. In Jan 2015 his daughter dies tragically at age 15. The Lakes fire him 25 months later.
Yeah I'm sure his daughter's death had nothing to do with that. There's a slim chance that basketball might not have been the first thing on his mind. But hey, 35 years, 10 championships, that's in the past. We've had a bad few years so sorry Mitch we're gonna have to unceremoniously fire you like we would fire any bum on a 10 day contract.
Classy stuff
The lack of sympathy is truly disturbingIt's been 2 years so it doesn't matter anymore according to @The One True
I'm not sure exactly why Mitch was let go, though. I think he's a good, if not great GM.
Never knew the mourning process had a time limit. Stop being an inconsiderateshe died over two years ago. i would expect nothing less from you than to use someone's dead daughter to take a cheap shot at a team you don't like you piece of shit

Not really sure if you're qualified to discuss work place etiquette. Actually you're probably the least qualified lolif your daughter passed and you stopped being productive at work, how long would you expect to keep your job? there is an extra lenience you should afford someone in such a situation but it doesn't last forever, even if your suffering does. nobody gets over the loss of a child but that doesn't mean you get a lifetime pass, end of story
you can argue the decision to fire him from a basketball standpoint, and you'd still be wrong, but to claim it is unethical to fire him amidst a fourth straight disastrous season because his daughter passed two years ago is completely disingenuous and is using a legitimate misfortune to make a 'political' point, in other words it's something faust would do
Not really sure if you're qualified to discuss work place etiquette. Actually you're probably the least qualified lol
Then why wasn't Jeannie fired as well?it has nothing to do with workplace etiquette. the entire front office has been terribly inept for years now and the team has shown no significant improvement or promise, so they were replaced
i'm sure even your peahead can wrap around this revo
