I kind of hoped that the change in his posting style was reflecting of the fact that he had gotten smarter. But recent threads has shown me that he just needs someone to appear interested in his theories, and he will start spouting the same old stuff all over again (just without linking to any "sources" anymore). Which just goes to show that he knows that the places were he read his information were bad.

It's super odd. The most reasonable explanation would be that he is in fact just trolling. But then he is one dedicated troll, I have to say.

I think Juke's post makes some sense (you can sig that, Jukai). He's not exactly trolling. He has an emotional commitment to the CT worldview (it's more fun, and it can be used to defend any position) but intellectually, he knows it won't withstand scrutiny. So he's vague. I've argued with people in real life about alternative medicine, and they'll admit that it can't be defended scientifically but still think that it works, and they'll avoid arguing about it, but will love to talk to other believers or people who are interested but not convinced.

I tend to just respond in more detail to people who are actually interested now. I've provided plenty of resources to such people. I guess it just depends on context.

It requires time to examine resources, and only people that are interested would do such a thing. Since there is a certain degree of foundational knowledge for a lot of things to make sense, throwing links at people is pointless because out of context most things are easy to dismiss outright.

Also, I don't care as much as I used to, especially when it just sets people off.

Sometimes information is best shared over PM anyways.

I would refer to these as resources. I took the time to post some that I think provide some basics. Keeping in mind that not everything must be believed or taken at face value to start the process of discernment.

As for you calling everything bullshit I'd have to examine things on a case by case basis, but in regards to the above, it is best seen as a collection.
