*** 2014 NBA Offseason Thread, v8: Clippers Loom ***

Cavs need a rim protector the most. Basically they need Nerlens Noel but decided to draft fat piece of shit instead.

Throw in Bogut too. I'm ready to hit the reset button. He's also some toughness since we know Bron is soft as hell.

How much did that trade to Indiana kill Evan Turner's stock

The guy is still unsigned and no one is interested lol

He got fucked by being drafted by Philly. They tried to make him play the 2 spot and he can't do it, he should have been playing point where he had a size advantage but they had Jrue and then MCW.

I still think he could be a decent PG if he gets the chance.

He'd get besmirched hard every night defensively trying to guard PGs tho

Seriously?

Wiggins has little offensive game, and while a great defender in college hasn't guarded star pros yet...

Thompson is a solid to very good defender at the pro level and one of the best shooters in basketball. Two skills vital in today's game

Wiggy got worked by Canaan yesterday.

Minnesota with Rubio, Wiggins, and Brewer would have the worst outside shooting in the league. It would be Pek with 5 guys around him the entire time.

At no point in time will McRoberts be as good as Wade.

True, but he started 78 games last year, plays hard and plays D, is very well rounded for a big, and most importantly, was second in the whole league in Ast/TO ratio...

Id rather have McRoberts at his contract, than Wade at his, just saying

Goddamn I can only imagine a Wad-Beta-Bish-Dung-McBoss big 5

FUUUUUUUUUCCKCCKKKKKKK UUUUUUUUUUUUUU BETTTTTAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!

Rustlemania III.

just likes/wants the attention

He strung them along.

Knew he wasn't ever going to catch the GOAT and win 6 rings, so he ran away home.

Lower expectations. Everyone will kiss his ass just for going back, and he can be the GM behind the scenes.

Happy that he's happy, but let's just call it what it is. He took the easy road again.

No offense to the state, but anybody who would willingly move to Ohio from Miami is not taking the easy road, hometown or not.

Wade’s generosity has resulted in what'll be a 6-yr total sacrifice of $29M, relative to what we were all more than happy to give 4 yrs ago.

Payton, Oladipo, Gordon have something to say about that.

Bosh was going to sign for 2 years/ 20 million if LeBeta stayed. Wad was going to take a bigger cut than he just did.

No way Bosh was signing for 10 million a season. He would have given the Heat a discount that amounted to the no state income tax he has to pay

Someone broke down the numbers on the Heat RealGM board. Bosh would've been somewhere around $14 mil.
