As ridiculous as his salary is, even Kooby took a paycut.

Lol @ Bern threatening to leave unless literally everyone opted out, and took a reduced salary, so that he himself can get a raise to the absolute max.

The one true is GENEROUSLY taking a 7 million dollar paycut this season because he wants the team to have some extra money to spend on FAs. That is what you call SACRIFICING for the team. Meanwhile, LeJuice is greedily demanding millions and millions more to satisfy his huge ego. Can't believe people call this guy a "team" player LMAO!

TBH I think this sudden radical change in Juice's behavior is probably a sign of $$$ issues on his end. He has probably surrounded himself with yes men and has been blowing through millions. It wouldn't be the first time an athlete paid as much as him has gone broke. The late, great Alex Iverson is a shining example of this.

If Bern take a max salary while everyone else takes a paycut it will look bad on him by almost everyone. That being said he deserves a max contract, but i don't know if doing it this way is the best idea.

It's hard to imagine someone in his position needing his basketball money at this point. You figure a guy that idolizes Jordan so much would take notice of how much money Jordan made away from the game and start selling some hanes or something and take the paycut.

He's never been the highest paid player on his own team.

He's the best player in the world. I doubt anyone who doesn't hate him, would rip on him for making max money.

lol'ing hard @ best player in the world. I think the finals proved that he isn't a top 5 player in today's league. Couldn't lead the FAVORED cHeat with all that firepower LMAO!

I have absolutely no problem with LelBron wanting a max deal if the rumor is true.

As Koobs so eloquently pointed out, it's not just about one player. It's about protecting the earning potential of ALL players.

Star players should make Star money. Doesn't make sense for revenues to keep growing every year and have LelBron making less money than Gilbert Arenas did 7 years ago.

Arenas generated more money than Juice does so it works out. This is economics 101

I actually respect Lelbron more.

Why should he take less to carry a bunch of scrubs?

By his own admission, he was a big part of that group of scrubs. He said it himself after the Finals; "I should have done more".

Well if you should have done more and failed, then you should be making less.

The Nets discussions about a replacement for Kidd as head coach are in their infancy. Former Grizzlies coach Lionel Hollins and at least two college coaches, both with championship resumes

"The Russians are done with Kidd" has to be one of the best lines I've seen in a while. They're gonna find Kidd's body in a Brooklyn dumping ground in a few weeks.

LOL at nobody paying attention to breakitdownsyndrome the past few pages. You can tell his jimmies are getting a little uncomfortable.

In other news, Masai has revealed that the greatest #20 draft pick of all time will be in the Faptors line up next season.

i have no idea why anyone would be high on mark jackson. I thought he sucked. He always seemed to be giving some kind of speach instead of actual x's and o's.

He's a preacher man.

His number one play was isos for Curry.

He'll take less money.
Bern made 50 million last year from endorsements. His Nikes had 300 million in sales.

I don't think Lebernicus Jameson will try to leverage for more money. He's raking in the dough elsewhere and wants another title.
