Baseball different from other sports when it come to the draft. Mike Pizza was picked in the 62 round. Many other examples out there. Pizza is the craziest one.

On the flipside, I played with a guy who was a 5th round pick of the Mets who played one year of rookie ball before flaming out. I figured he would flame out, but I thought a 5th round pick would get more than 1 year. The minor league system of baseball is pretty brutal
